After completing our 2 nights' stay in Pullman Bali Legian Beach, we decided to move to another hotel in Nusa Dua area - Novotel Bali Nusa Dua. The hotel is located in the BTDC complex (at the very end of this exclusive area). Once we arrived in the hotel property, I went to the front desk and proceeded with check-in : It was quite prompt and efficient (less than 10 mins.). The hotel assigned one of their 2 Bedroom Apartment Suites with Balcony (Room #1208/2nd Fl.), in a building structure where its balcony faced the outdoor parking area. The room itself was spacious (130 M2), clean and extremely well maintained despite the fact the hotel had been in operation for more than 10+ years (if I was not mistaken). It is a perfect hotel especially for all travelers with family/young children. The 1st bedroom (in our 2 bedroom Suites) was equipped with a king size bed while the 2nd bedroom had 2 twin beds, separate kitchen area, living room with a L-shape sofa and a huge balcony, all in one unit. The kids enjoyed themselves during our 3 nights's stay in the hotel and they love the swimming pool area. The hotel itself has a kids' club but our kids didn't use the facility during our stay. In my personal opinion, it is more suitable for kids under 6 years old. Now, the only minor issue we found during our stay was the food portion and the overall service performed in the restaurant. We had to select and choose a very few breakfast sets from the menu : Yes, the hotel didn't serve/offer buffet breakfast to the guests during our stay (perhaps due to hotel's low occupancy). The food quality was slightly above average but the overall food portions (especially the fruit and the pastries) were quite minimal, barely enough to fill our stomachs. However, this problem was solved instantly after I highlighted this issue to Ms. Fortuna in the FO. Overall, the service performed in the restaurant had to be improved as well as it fell below standard (some employees were not friendly, had long face, didn't have a positive energy etc. in serving the guests). 1 more thing : This hotel has its own private beach in Nusa Dua (+/- 15 mins. on foot) and it offers complimentary shuttle. Their private beach area was not really well maintained during our visit but its condition was still tolerable/acceptable. The hotel is also pretty quiet (I barely heard any noise during our stay) and I could find its exclusivity during our stay in this hotel. For this reason, I would not hesitate to grant them a 5 stars' rating and strongly recommend this lovely hotel property to everyone who is looking for quality hotel accommodation in the future trips to Nusa Dua area in Bali. At the same time, I also would like to take the opportunity to highlight 2 outstanding employees in the hotel, Ms. Fortuna and Ms. Dita, both in the front desk, for their excellent service. Sadly, I couldn't meet Ms. Fortuna during our 3 night' stay last month as she didn't have any schedule to work in the hotel for 4 straight days.

I stayed here for 5 days over Christmas 2021. Overall it was a really nice experience. Arrival and check in was efficient. As a Gold Accor member I was offered an upgrade to a 1-bed apartment which was a nice surprise. I'd asked for a quiet room and they did explain the apartment would be pool-facing so might be a bit noisy. It was, but it was nice to have such a big space and a huge terrace. Despite being high season the hotel wasn't full (for obvious reasons) and so quite a lot of facilities were limited but overall, it was fine. The apartment was great - really spacious and well appointed. To be honest, the place is beginning to show it's age and might be due for a refurb but it was still nice. The breakfast buffet was good - less choice probably than in normal times but enough choice to keep most people happy. The staff was very efficient and polite and many (not all) were really friendly too which is always a bonus! The reception staff were very helpful when I asked about where to do a PCR test and helped me to organise it. The only negatives were the fact that the room cleaning service didn't usually arrive until after 4pm which seems a bit late and the fact that there were a lot of very noisy big family groups but this isn't the hotel's fault. If you're booking during Indonesian school holidays and want peace and quiet then you should request a room as far away from the pool as possible. The hotel location is good but bear in mind that Nusa Dua is quite far from Kuta / Seminyak, a lot of places nearby are currently closed and taxis in Bali are quite expensive compared to other places in Indonesia. The private beach is a 3-minute shuttle bus ride away or a 10 minute walk and is pretty nice. Every time I went there it was quiet with just a few surfers hanging around. In summary, I was very satisfied with my stay - the rates were much lower than you'd normally expect at this time of year (Ultra high season) and I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

Stay at this resort with family and got an upgrade to one bedroom apartment. The premises is very spacious, clean and comfortable. I am having trouble with my AC during the first night if my stay, however the hotel apologize and compensate me with voucher meals at the restaurant The downside from this hotel is they serves poor breakfast selections, which is not acceptable since December holiday occupancy rate is high.

Stayed for 3 nights on December 2021 in the 2 Bedroom Suites. This is probably my 10th stay in this hotel due to my membership in Accor. However I gotta say that I think the room we were given has been vacant for quite a while. Many amenities broke during my check in. TV has to be replaced, toilet bidet isn't working, the glass door in the bathroom has this squeaky sound that when we open the door, the whole Suite can hear this unpleasant sound. It took almost 2/3 hours for the staffs to replace the malfunction amenities. However apart from that, the room is cleaned properly and is still good for Accor standards. What I noticed is that the hotel is struggling with its service. Don't get me wrong, I think that the staffs were working the best they can do and is very helpful, but I think the hotel is hugely understaffed for the amount of room rented. I noticed a lot of staffs were wearing white shirts, maybe because they are still training/part time staffs. They are doing their best, but I think they are not yet properly trained enough to know the ins and outs of the hotel. My overall stay is okay but I think it can be more pleasant if the service is enhanced.

It was my first experience to stay in this hotel. I was satisfied enough with the facilities in this hotel. At first I was so confused because the bathroom is as big as the room size 🤣 but I love this hotel! They also have a private beach.
