Lovely and clean accommodation, pool and overall setting. Although away from centre of Nusa Dua it was a short walk to Mr Bobs restaurant which does amazing ribs and there are some bars. Short taxi ride into town centre but had a lovely stay would definitely go back.

I come every year and what is not to like.... quiet location, lovely rooms, great food and service and beautiful people. It has everything you could find in big 4 and 5 star resorts but in a smaller, much more friendly and personal atmosphere. A little gem.

If you have read the reviews - they are all correct. This place is just perfect. Small family run just off the main road (about 150m). Pros - All the staff - You are all amazing, happy smiles. - The pool - Just right for a cool down - The breakfasts - oh and the Bali coffee :) - Perfect room - great bed Cons - NONE Will stay again next time we are in Bali - Good luck with the new resort you are building

Pros: Awesome pool with clean water, plenty of sun, sun beds by the pool, totally cool to just hang out in the hotel when you don't feel like going out. The property is as nice as the photos on the booking website. Clean, comfortable bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast, coffee refill, healthy fruits, muesli, danish, croissant, etc. Friendly staff Quiet, not on the main road, not much noise at night, you can get well rested. Only 4, 5 rooms, so it doesn't get very crowded. Cons: Location. Tangung Benoa beach is not for swimming. Lots of seeweed on the beach, many boats in the water. Have to walk for 20-25 minutes to get to the nusa dua beach, or a taxi ride is 35000 Rupiyah.

This place is a hidden gem. Only a short walk from the busy high street in Nusa Dua and the beach. The thing that makes this place exceptional is the attention to detail. From a warm welcome, impeccable room to breakfast service, it gets five stars. Yes, it isn’t a big hotel so you need to manage your expectations. Loved the Kubu breakfast and the plunge pool.

We stayed here for two nights before flying east from Bali to a dive resort. Staff were very friendly, helpful and chatty and our room was clean and well-maintained. Our terrace didn't have a pool or garden view, but that didn't matter as we were catching up on sleep after the long flight from the UK and before our busy diving schedule (3x 70-minute dives per day!). We enjoyed walking around, but bear in mind the nearby beaches are not as good as the ones on the western side of the island. We took a short taxi trip for a day on Jimbaran beach - well worth it for the seafood, etc. We ate in at Kubu on both nights and the food was excellent, freshly-cooked and washed down with a bottle of wine, which didn't cost the earth! Overall, we'd recommend this cosy guesthouse for its attentive service and value for money. It is a little off the beaten track, but both our taxi drivers found it!

We could not recommend kubu gardens more highly. The rooms are beautifully presented and clean, nice and cool and serviced daily. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. We were blown away by the value for money. We hired two rooms, one for us and one for our children they are right next to each other so it was very easy. The gardens are beautifully maintained and it was like a little retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Tanjung Benoa/ Nusa Dua. We prefer to walk than taxi which you can do from the location. We took the free Bali Collection bus from the Aston when we wanted to go to Nusa Dua. The alley way is well lit and we felt safe walking out for dinner at night even saw some cows. We will definitely return.

We've had a great stay in Kubu Garden. The staff is really friendly. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Every day you can choose from different kinds of breakfast. The food is good and well prepared. The staff is helpfull and the location is quiet, at the end of a small street, 150m walking distance to the main street with lots of shops and restaurants. Close to the airport, so a great way to start or end your holiday. We have had a very nice stay.
