Stayed here 2 nights last weekend with family, free room upgrade with plunge pool, my kid love it. It was quick chek in and out, great hospitality from the staff and nice breakfast too. One thing to note, we dont actually get the feeling of sofitel, the room is bit smell old most probably because never been use for quite sometimes. Other than that we are okay. Hangin there sofitel!
My 3rd time staying in Sofitel. I always had a great time staying here on my previous trips. Visited the hotel again on 2nd April 2021. Firstly, No more buggy at the parking lot to take you to the lobby. They are so understaffed. They only have a lot of people walking around at the lobby to greet us but serve no useful purpose. Took us forever to check in, and there is no more aircon in the checkin lounge. I understand that we are still in the covid pandemic and if you want to turn off the AC, the whole check in process should be done quicker. Got one of the rooms on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The music playing over the restaurant was so loud on repeat and it wouldn’t stop. Called the front desk to see if they could stop it at around midnight and they stopped it. Woke up at 6am and the music is still playing again. Thank you for ruining “Stand by me” forever to me. Seriously you only have 50% occupancy but you can’t give us a room where i don’t feel like gouging my eyes out listening to the loud music. Pool lounge was crowded i guess the promo pricing works. Unfortunately, pool lounge was also understaff. Took forever for the staff to clean up the daybeds. When i finally got one of their attentions, they only cleared the drinks previously left by other guests and promised to come back and disinfect only to not hear back from the staff. He basically did not come back. Had to grab our own towels and disinfect the daybeds ourselves. Ordered drinks from the pool bar, and the staff did not want to serve us drinks, he said that they close at 5pm and it was 5:10pm. After much discussion with his supervisor he told us that they had changed their closing time to 7pm. Seriously, you should know all these before you get to your station. Won’t be coming back till you bring back your standard.…
We stayed for 3 nights on 20th March 2021 and was not a very pleasant stay. The shower was not warm enough, but they managed to fix it. The food from room service and from the restaurant (cucina) and at the beach bar are basically the same menus, and the taste were not what we expected for Sofitel standard. Then come to the worse is the menu at breakfast. We understood that this is pandemic period that you need to re-arrange things accordingly but it doesn’t mean to lower down the taste of the food. Also, where are all the bycicles? with such little guests in the hotel, it left very few bycicles (and very poor conditions), yes we were always the first to arrive early in the morning in the bycicle station??
I had 5 night stay there last February and overall had a good experience. The villa are well maintained and all the amenities we need are quite quick to be delivered to our rooms. The breakfast and dinner we had everyday was tasty and the service from the staff are good. The only downside from my stay are the hotel used the Covid situation as a reason to cut most of the Platinum benefit while many Accor hotel still provide the benefit such as lounge access etc.
Actually i forget the specific date i stay at this hotels, but im sure i came before this pandemic on january 2020 and i just review today, but anyway before i stay here i had business trip at westin, during that day i had recomended from my friend to have a vacation in sofitel, on desember i come to sofitel for looking around the ambience, and i met mirzha, he guide me to see all of sofitels facility, he show me the room which i get and that was so amazing my fams and i will love this place over all the hotels was so safe for familly holiday, i hope i can came again and had a vacation again here
