If you’re looking for quiet relaxation and Royalty treatment then look no further than Samabe Bali Villas and Suites.
We stayed for 1 week and we were thoroughly looked after with the all inclusive package.
From Perth, it’s 3.5hrs flight and 30 mins from Denpasar Airport (big tick)
From the moment we arrived we were treated with Balinese charm and hospitality. We chose the Honeymoon Suite with unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean, sounds of lapping waves and cooling breezes - not to mention the spaciousness, attention to cleanliness and detail, big bath and amenities.
The in-room dining, restaurants and beach facilities served the same high quality meals, no matter where we chose to have it. There was always someone friendly coming to serve you multiple drinks or some food!!
The buggy service was prompt and reliable. And even when we decided to walk, a buggy driver passing would ask if you wanted a lift.

The e-butler (WhatsApp) service was a stroke of genius- It started before arrival with quick checkin service, included airport chauffeur/ transfer service texting us instructions and a picture of who to look out for, and in resort it was so easy to use to book literally anything we cared to do and so promptly and efficiently. There was also a written record of what we booked too!

The beach! Ok, so the sand was not white powder and more like millet seeds… but we spent days here. The food and drinks service, afternoon tea, beach cave dinner, water sports team and facilities allowed us to do as much or as little as we wanted and stay longer. The water is calm and clear, perfect temperature, with thanks to the natural reef/rocky wave break about 500m out. The snorkelling here was pleasant and safe but not world class (for this we would go elsewhere) but you could enjoy swimming, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, wind-surfing etc. We wanted to specially thank Putra at the beach cafe for his attentiveness.

We can’t speak more highly of the service and staff. We wrote reviews for Rempah Rempah and Crystal Blue restaurants elsewhere. Big thanks to Executive Chef Ketut Sumerta for checking in on us and for building a great team.

This was a truly luxurious vacation and we will be back.

We stayed at Samabe for 8 nights in October for part of our Honeymoon in Bali.
Overall the experience was amazing with a luxury feel to the whole stay.

Service:
Was perfect. We especially want to say thank you to Shirely who was always friendly and welcoming and happy to help us with anything. She particularly was very helpful on our first day informing us of all we could do and answering any questions we had.
Staff were always great, being very attentive in helping with beach towels, offering us drinks and bringing refreshments to our deck chairs.
At meals the staff were always very helpful and friendly.
Additionally, the watersports team were amazing at helping with kayaks and paddleboards and we had a great time on the catamaran.

Food:
We ate at Samabe every night we were there and every meal was great. We particularly liked the spring roll starters and noodles in rempah-rempah restraurant.
The breakfast has anything and everything we could have asked for. The fruit juices were great and if they didnt have a particular type out if requested they were happy to provide. We particularly enjoyed the variety at breakfast of noodles, sushi, dimsum, pastries, bacon and sausages.
Only thing we were confused about was that the special of the day was always offered to us after we had eaten a full plate/ ordered from the a la carte menu and were quite full.
We ate one meal at the ocean grill. This was perhaps my favourite meal. I had the tuna steak and they brought out a type of bread and butter with dip which was all amazing.

Activities:
The water sports were great fun.
The pool has an amazing view, it isnt too deep (about 1-1.3m if I remember right) and is a good temperature considering how hot it was out of the water with plenty of space for all to not feel overcrowded on the deck chairs.
We also tried the fruit carving and Balinese offering making which we had great fun doing both and the instructors were great always ensuring we understood them.

Ebutler:
This system of having a butler in a whatsapp chat was perfect for us. We found it super easy to use and they were very helpful if we had any requests or questions and replied very quickly.

Room:
We stayed in one of the Samabe Suites over looking the ocean. As soon as we walked in the view is just amazing. The windows are huge and allow a beautiful view of the ocean waves. There is even a telescope to use to look out at the ocean which was great fun. The bed is massive and very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The only issue we had was the W/C toilet by the entrance smelt bad from the moment we got the room so we left the door closed and didn't use it. Mini bar was stocked everyday and we were given plenty of bottled water which was much appreciated with the heat. The bath tub and shower were perfect and there was plenty of storage space to hang cloths and fold items.

Additional items:
The hotel grounds are quite expansive and you can get a buggy to take you to where you want to go but we enjoyed walking between areas.

We would highley recommend coming here particularly if you are looking for a little luxury and relaxation.

Fantastically beautiful hotel with a super nice ocean view suite.
Staff and service were exceptionally good!
Minibar was regularly refilled and was included in the price. The rooms were cleaned twice a day.
You could have someone pick you up in a baggy, for example to the restaurant lobby, etc.
All in all a very good hotel.

Wow wow wow.

From the moment we arrived into the lobby we were met with an amazing view of well kept grounds and beautiful pond with ducks.

We were each presented with a flower lei and welcome drink and our check-in process was very smooth and before we knew it we were being shown to our villa.

We had been upgraded from a garden view to an ocean view and it was absolutely outstanding. The living room had a beautiful high ceiling and the master bedroom was of exceptional size with the biggest bathroom/dressing room I’ve ever experienced in any resort.

We had an all inclusive package and the food was absolutely outstanding and I can highly recommend paying extra to have this included as the quality was exceptional.

My husband and I also treated ourselves to dinner in the on-site cave for my 50th birthday and the food served over the 11 courses was worthy of a Michelin star. Our meal included beluga caviar, grade 7 Wagyu Steak and spiny lobster all in the most stunning surroundings. Very special.

Even though the hotel is situated on a cliff, there is an inclinator that takes you down to the beach or there are stairs if you prefer.

We stayed here for 9 nights and I cannot recommend the Samabe enough. I would happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of December beginning of January with our family 2 adults and kids 8 and 10 years.
Let’s begin from the pluses of this hotel, staff met us with lovely circlet of flowers, told everything about the hotel and we went to our villa. Territory is very nice and huge, you have a lot of space and place to walk, they have a nice place for weddings, all in glass with a picturesque view to the beach. A lot of palms and beautiful nature. We stayed in one bedroom villa with pool and our view was on jungle, it was nice.
Hotel have great in room dining service, they have done everything we wanted and done their best I think, if you ask to cook something special for you they will do it and bring immediately .
The most important thing and biggest plus for our family and I believe for most of people is that tides are practically invisible, the hotel situated in such a position that you can swim practically all day long, it’s the most comfortable beach for swimming especially with kids with no waves, so you can spend a lot of time near the seaside.
About minuses first thing is that villas need to be renovated, as for me they are rather old, furniture and other stuff. Swimming pool at our villa was a bit small to swim, just to rest.
The other one is that the food at the restaurant is really poor, even at the breakfast buffet we didn’t have many varieties, so to oder to the room what we want helped us a lot. But we would like to suggest to have more choices of food and it would be really great to have possibly of dinner at the restaurant with buffet also, because kids are usually very hungry and it’s hard for them to wait for a long while their dish will be ready.
The last one and important is that there were not enough sun beds at the beach for guests and there were bees near the sun beds, we wanted to stay in cabana, but the price is unreal, near 800 usd for 1 day🙈 we didn’t see such prices for private cabana nowhere, that’s the reason why they were always empty.
So generally our experience was good, mostly because of the nature, beach, nice spa and in room dining service, but guests need to know some details that administration of the hotel can easily change, thank you for our stay.

We stayed in the East suites for 3 nights. The service was amazing; it exceeded our expectations. As soon as you arrive, the staff sets up a WhatsApp group, which provides butler service where you can communicate all your requests, from ordering food to requesting water or driver information. They always replied in less than a minute. We stayed with a baby, and even though it's a suite, it's not very convenient for parents with a baby since there is no separate bedroom. We requested a baby crib, which we placed in the dressing room for our baby to sleep or nap.
Otherwise, the restaurant is great, the swimming pool is superb, offering a 50-meter swim or a shallow area that is perfect for swimming with children or babies. Additionally, every time we dined at the restaurant, the waitresses were amazing and eager to hold our baby, allowing us to enjoy our food peacefully.
On the downside, our suite and terrace were located just above the private beach. There were events during the 4 nights we were here, including weddings, company parties, and birthdays. The music was extremely loud, with bright lights and people singing on microphones. Fortunately, it seems all noisy activities stopped by 10 PM. If you like to go to bed early, it's better to have earplugs. We were worried it would wake up our baby, but it turned out to be okay. Also, the terrace was a bit oily and greasy due to the barbecue smoke prepared on the beach. The staff cleaned it up as we requested, but the next day, there was another barbecue, and it became greasy again.
I would recommend staying in a villa if you can afford it. The villas look amazingly beautiful, and we would choose them if we have to come back. The beach is okay, not the most convenient for swimming but still fine. There is afternoon tea every day, included in the benefits, and we discovered that all non-alcoholic drinks were free with our booking. It was great news :). We loved the place because of the kindness of the staff, but the suites might not be the best option to stay, as the villas offer more privacy and charm.
As I write this, we are almost heading to the airport and listening to a Brazilian party happening just below us

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, consistently ensuring that our needs were met and our stay was comfortable. They were always available to help with anything we needed, showing genuine care and hospitality. The rooms at the hotel were notably spacious, providing ample room for relaxation and rest. Each room was equipped with comfortable furnishings and maintained with a high standard of cleanliness, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of activities.

The hotel’s private beach was another highlight, kept super clean and peaceful, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The clear waters and soft sands made it an inviting place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun.

Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The meals were freshly prepared with quality ingredients, catering to different dietary preferences and providing a tasty start to the day. From freshly baked pastries to local and international dishes, the breakfast was consistently satisfying and enjoyable.

Overall, the combination of friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, clean and private beach, and delicious morning meals made our stay at the hotel exceptionally pleasant and memorable.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon and we can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Everything was perfect, from the security staff, to the drivers, to reception and the restaurant/bar staff, cleaners, maintenance and gardeners, EVERYONE was constantly smiling and happy to talk at all times. We have never been to a hotel like it and we can honestly say we will be back and recommend you to all of our friends and family.
Booking restaurants was so easy, the WhatsApp butler functionality was amazing and the staff honestly couldn't do enough for us. Everything that we requested was done in a matter of minutes. It was so refreshing to see staff that are happy, and it was genuine happiness, we could tell people loved working at the hotel and it was lovely to see management also being present and speaking to guests. Thank you a million times over for the best experience, we left as family and hope to see you all again soon.

The food is tasty and has an abundance of choices. Overall, I would recommend Samabe to friends and family.

I don't know where to start, from the moment my fiancé and me walked into Samabe we felt the warmth and care of all staff. We were celebrating our anniversary as well as our recent engagement and I don't think we could have picked a better place. We stayed in the honeymoon suite where it was quiet, peaceful and private. I loved having the 24/7 service and that the butlers were very attentive to our every need. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, everything is kept very tidy and clean. Our room was cleaned twice a day which was great since we were in and out of the pools, beach and showers and using the towels often. We loved the afternoon tea on the beach and our floating breakfast. We enjoyed watching the traditional shows with our dinners and felt so special on our first night with our complimentary dinner. We loved doing the cooking class, we have so many wonderful photos thanks to the lovely lady taking them while we enjoyed cooking with the head chef. We loved the buggy service and the ease of organising taxis and private drivers for our excursions. We loved the cheeky monkeys hanging around, even when they came to drink our tea and sugar from our decking! The security were very good at helping to keep them away but I personally enjoyed seeing them hanging around. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We went for five nights and it was absolutely divine. Loved everything about Samabe and always felt very welcomed and looked after. Thankyou Samabe, we had a wonderful time and we will definitely be coming back soon!

We were in the 1 bedroom ocean front pool villa...we did not visit those with garden view...but in my humble opinion, they are all identical. Perhaps it would be a good idea to write to them: they answer very fast (good service on that). But if the pool is like ours...I doubt your husband will be able to easily step in and out from the pool...good luck
