We loved our stay at The Bale and would love to go back ever year. The staff were fabulous, the food was amazing and our villa as wonderful. The pool was heavenly and water so gentle there was no problem opening your eyes underwater when swimming. Spa treatments were excellent also. We loved that it was adults only too. No kids running riot. A perfect couples holiday to unwind and relax.

We booked last minute and were accommodated by the most wonderful team at the hotel. They assisted with an early arrival and guided us through the Villa and app (which is a super concept and really helpful). The most comfortable bed guaranteed a restful sleep every night. A highlight for me was the team at Faces Restaurant. They were subtle in their service and chatted freely with guests. The food was phenomenal and we regretted not eating their more frequently. The Beach Club is small but the privacy and butler on duty were welcome. Would have enjoyed an opportunity to have coffee with the Manager. Definitely would like to return again on our next trip.

We visited over Christmas and were delighted with the villa and amenities. I personally had 3 massages whilst there they were so good! Food was superb and service speedy. First class team, thoughtful and hard working. The villa wanted for nothing and because of the nature of the private villas you find the communal areas very quiet so you feel that the pace is yours alone. A very peaceful experience and one I would recommend highly.

Where to start?? We cannot praise this hotel enough. From the minute we were met at the airport to the minute we were dropped back at the airport, after a fantastic week, we were treated like royalty. Our driver gave us chilled flannels, water and fresh fruit once we were in the car. Once we arrived at the hotel we were given more chilled flannels and a delicious refreshing welcome drink. Much welcomed as it was so hot. Check in was easy and stress free. We were given the WiFi code and shown how to log in to the hotel’s app. It didn’t take us long to understand this and it worked really well. We looked at pictures of the hotel and rooms before our trip but nothing prepares you for how stunning this hotel is. Absolutely everything we needed was provided. When we went to breakfast at Faces restaurant the following morning we were greeted by several members of restaurant staff and very well looked after. All food was freshly prepared where you could see the chefs. The smoothie fruit bowls, pancakes and eggs benedict were especially delicious. We gave our room number on our first morning then were recognised and hardly need to be asked the rest of the week which was lovely. We met the manager on our second morning and each time he saw us after greeted us as though we were old friends. All staff were very helpful and attentive. They couldn’t do enough for us but didn’t pester us. Each day our room, pool and garden area were cleaned to a very high standard. The nets around the bed were closed and the bed turned down every evening, we especially loved the little cards left on the bed with relaxing quotes. If we had used the towels or beach towels during the day they were replaced in the evening and the room was tidied again. There was always plenty of water and soft drinks in the room. Fresh fruit and cookies were also replaced daily. We had plenty of tea and coffee in the room. We ordered room service for lunch a few times. This was so easy via the app and our food and drinks were the same high standard as if we had gone to the restaurant to eat. We also used the spa for massages and a facial. These were amazing. We used fluid bar on a few occasions and again excellent standard. We also ate at Tapa restaurant one evening which was delicious. As we had already booked a few trips before we arrived we didn’t need to book any trips through the hotel but we know they would have been of the same high standard. We did make use of a driver dropping us off at Bali collection one day for shopping and he was there within no time to pick us up once we were ready to go back. I could talk for so much longer about this fantastic hotel but wanted to give a small snapshot of it.

Was expecting a lot from this hotel and they delivered. From the pickup at the airport to the checkin at reception we were greeted with lovely smiling staff. They made us feel at home straight away. Be prepared for walking up a few stairs. We found a way that had no stairs and just an incline. They have golf buggies to move you around if needed. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The pool was also sparkling clean. The pool boys and cleaning staff were excellent, friendly and did a great job. Food. What can I say. Bale Nusa Duo has a great choice, you can eat as much as you want off the menu and all we ate was 10/10. My favourites were the Popeye Smoothy, Orange Pancakes and the Nasi and Mei Goreng, wish we were there longer to go through entire menu, but we gave it a good go. We had a few chats with the lovely Andre who is the General Manager. All he was interested in was that we were comfortable and happy with our stay, we couldn’t find anything to complain to him about Lastly, all the staff were so lovely and attentive and made the Bale our new home in Bali for future trips . Can’t recommend highly enough.
