so i have visited Bali multiple times in different situations. this is a great resort located in the quiet part of the island. it is great w. small children as you are here to relax and do short excursions. if you want to see the cultural bali, this might not be the location to be as it is far from Ubud and the mountains. the breakfast spread is expansive and fresh, and it caters to every type of visitor. I would stay here again after I am done w. seeing the cultural part of the island as it si not too far from airport and is very relaxing.

Service: The staff were also very proactive is helping out, despite some language barrier. 2 Bedroom Ocean Suite: There was a walk in closet accompanying the spacious sleeping area. The bathroom came equipped with toiletries. Our rooms faced the sea, which in turn looked out to the east. Early in the morning, we got to view the sun rising from the horizon and casting a magical spell on everything outside the window. Meals: Breakfast was at the main dining hall looking out to the resort’s swimming pool. The space was vast and there were plenty of stations catering to different taste buds. The main beach facing restaurant was Ikan Restaurant & Bar. Beach: The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali owned quite an extensive beach front. Spa: We went for our scheduled spa / facial in late afternoon. The spa was so popular that we had to be split up and scheduled very far back! Gym: The gym was well equipped. There was plenty of treadmills and bikes, not to mention weights machine and free weights. p/s: I stayed at Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali in May 2018. Only had time to leave this review and TripAdvisor only allowed backdating up till Jul 2019.

this was I think our favourite hotel in this trip and we did stay in some amazing places. the room was nice nothing crazy. what we loved was the location the pool area and the staff . the location is perfect its quite and lovely but you can get out and walk around on the beach were there are more hotels and restaurants if you don't want to eat in the hotel all the time. the pool was the higgling of our stay it was sooo warm and nice huge so never to crowded and there were squirrels :) we loved feeding them nuts and they were very smart. the food and drinks by the pool were great to and good value for money . the staff were lovely everyone we met was friendly and helpful. we had 6 nights here and we were so mad with our self that didn't stay here for all of our stay in Bali. But we will be back as soon as possible

What a beautiful and fantastic hotel !!! Stayed at the hotel for a business seminar in the last week of January. This hotel is HUGE !!! Walking from one corner of the hotel to the other - takes a really long time. The breakfast spread is superb with a huge list of items available on Live Counters. Loved the stay. LOVED the place.

Nice greeting at the door and well handled by them, emptying the car and valet (free) parking it for us. Checkin was ok, would not say quick or efficient. Kids had already got bored in the play area off the lobby before we had received our keys and other information. Room was great. 2 separate rooms so noise between was extremely little (so kids could play. We were at the end of a block, so they couldn’t disturb anyone...) Air con worked ok, mini bars didn’t (in Bali it would be great if the drinks were cold). Rooms were beautifully clean, well presented and nicely laid; certainly, didn’t suffer the mold of the Intercon Jimbaran Bay. We had a few requests of the bellman and housekeeping. They responded quickly and efficiently. Well done. The kids raced to the free ice cream. Great touch Westin (well Marriott I understand) We were also keen to taste it and it was a good quality for a giveaway to kids, they demolished them. At 75,000++ a portion it would be an extremely low value experience. Tried their afternoon tea. The mini scones were nice. Not sure what they use as cream, certainly not clotted (and not expected in Bali), however this was extremely white, airy and didn’t have the richness one needs from cream in afternoon tea (miracle whip?). The ham sandwich was interesting. They make a paste with ham and something else, was nice, however wouldn’t order it again. Most of the deserts were left by the kids...also a rarity. Had room service dinner. Club sandwiches and Mac and cheeses for the kids. Another version of club sandwich, (certainly not a classic version of a club, which is very ok, as long as it works) and was only half eaten...(another rare occurrence) I tasted it and the chicken was hard, bacon was a plank (from breakfast?). And surprising, the Mac and cheese was also not finished. To give a comparison; at the Marriott in Nusa Dua; we had to order an extra portion as everyone loves it, here they were nibbled and left a lot. Breakfast, service was attentive and relatively quick, coffee was really nice. Had to try a sausage and didn’t take a second one. Eggs Benedict were also a different version, perfectly poached eggs and nice hollandaise sauce, on baguettes (still nice), just didn’t have anything else, was expecting ham or smoked salmon or spinach? there is so much wonderful pork in Bali, I was really looking forward to an Eggs Bene and will order again and complete it myself from the buffet (it was an a la carte order). The little touches that you come to expect at a better brand for were surprising missing, the end product with our meals lacked the reason to order it again. We would prefer to eat at the Marriott, which was, again; extremely surprising. Rooms side, all ticks, we would return for the rooms experience; and there are many places to eat outside of the hotel. As a resort you want both to be good, we come to a resort to chill out, and it is normal to charge ‘more’ within a resort; their commitment is to provide a value product in return.
