Everything was absolutely perfect! We had lunch at Selasar Deli with the most breathtaking views of Indian Ocean. The foods were delicious, and the waitress, especially Ayu and Lestari have provided the best quality of service during our lunch. Will definitely come again next time ❤️
We have just returned from our stay at the Apurva Kempinski. We stayed for 3 nights in the Cliff Private Pool Ocean Suite. We requested for a room with more sunshine, and we got exactly what we wanted, a room with wonderful sunshine all day. Our first impression when we arrived, was how incredibly impressive the lobby was! We were just standing there with our mouths wide open. Hands down, the most impressive lobby we've ever been in. Our private pool suite, was absolutely amazing, floor to ceiling windows, and waking up to the sun rising and the perfect views from the room, will be locked in our memories for a long time. We don't impress easily, and we have some very good hotels from Maldives to Phuket. But this place really took it to a whole new level....and then some. It's really too general to group all 5 star hotels in the same group, because as in this case, it proves that Apurva is in a league of it's own. We met a friendly face in Reto Leutenegger, the F&B manager who came up to speak to us while we were enjoying our cocktails and canapes at PALA rooftop bar on the first evening after we checked in. It is always nice that management takes the time to engage with guests. He must be a busy man, but he took the time to have a chat with us. We were just a couple in a really large hotel with lots of rooms and guests, he could easily just not come over and talk to us. Although we only stayed for 3 nights, we met him numerous times, because he was constantly making his rounds to the different food outlets. Which probably explains why this resort is run like a well-oiled machine, management is on the ground and working, constantly. We also would like to give credit to the housekeeping. We would always call to have the room cleaned and made up before we left for breakfast each morning, and each time, by the time we return, the room is spotlessly clean, beds made, and all the extra bottles of requested water are there. We never saw them once, they were like magic elves that came, did their magic and left. Considering how many rooms they have here, they are truly the unsung heroes, the backbone of any well run hotel. I saw some reviews complaining about how it wasn't possible to take any photos with a camera, or how they were told not to, so knowing all this before we came, we were quite unsure about this, because we have a friend in Bali, who's an avid photographer, and was coming over to visit us during our stay. When he came, all we had to do, was to go to the lobby, fill up a form, and that's it, less than 3 minutes, no fuss, absolutely painless. You're on someone's property, it's only simple courtesy to ask for permission from your host, isn't it? Respect works both ways. We absolutely loved the food at Apurva, from the pepperoni pizza from the reef club, the club sandwiches we ordered from room service, and the wonderful breakfast from the Cliff Lounge. The option of having both buffet and also ala-carte options for breakfast is just pure genius. We didn't have much chance to dine at all the outlets and we were out on some days, but wished we did. We were also thrilled to able to the watch the world cup during our stay, and having stayed at another 5 star hotel days prior to coming to Apurva, we couldn't watch any of the matches in our room, and we were wondering...the biggest event in the world, 5 star resort, no world cup, like really? But Apurva was a godsend, not just one channel, nope...multiple world cup channels, all in full HD, might i add. So, only a small improvement, if any, would be the room service menu. On the current room service menu, there are like only 4 pizzas, and our fave pizza, the pepperoni wasn't on it. We did eat it at the Reef Club, so we just tried our luck one evening, and asked if they could send us one. Guess what? They did, and it was from the Reef Club! Top points for that, so i'm thinking, maybe for room service, some items from any of your other outlets can be made available, like in the case above. Apurva, thank you for having us, and we made the right decision to stay at your hotel. Our 3 nights stay was too short, we loved the time we spent in our private pool suite, we really didn't want to leave! Without a doubt, the best hotel and room we've stayed in Bali. We have stayed in some impressive properties in Bali, some more expensive than the Apurva, but none has come this close to perfection, until now. We will be looking forward to our next stay when we return to Bali in future, so we can recreate these wonderful memories again. …
We stayed at Apurva Kempinski in January for a family holiday and it was the best Bali trip ever. The hotel is excellent with exceptional customer service, great food, great people and beautiful facilities. The variety of activities and food is great. We stayed at the Villa with access to the Villa Lounge and the staff there looked after us exceptional throughout our stay including preparing special meals for us. Our butler was excellent who looked after us throughout our stay, so, special thanks to our butler. We highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Bali and butler service is a must. We will definitely go back and stay at Apurva Kempinski again!!
The place is like a palace with one of the most over the top, stunning lobbies you've ever seen. The rooms are tastefully appointed and immaculate. Breakfast buffet was good and there are numerous restaurants on the property to chose from—I doubt anyone would be bored. However... As with most big box hotels in Nusa Dua, the property could really be anywhere. It doesn't "feel" like a Balianese hotel. Even the rooms feel like something from a city hotel. I get it though, there's a level of standardized service and amenities across the board and if that's what you're looking for, then the Apurva is right for you. Let me stress, the property is massive. It took me nearly 7 minutes to walk from my room to the lobby and most of the time you need a buggy. Service was kind and professional, but lacked the warmth you'd get at other places. Also, check in is at 3:00 PM—do NOT bother arriving early. You'll either be in your room exactly at 3 or later. The check in process could use improvement.…
We had our destination wedding in Kempinski and the whole experience is nothing but perfect. I was attracted by the beautiful Apruva chapel, eventually felt in love with the beautiful cliff chapel as my reception venue. It was stunning! The wedding planner and hotel staff have provided us tremendous supports down to every details, making sure our families and friends are all taken care of. The hotel also accomodate our last minutes changes to the largest extent. Will definitely recommend this beautiful resort and customer centric staff to everyone
The last accommodation I chose in Bali was Kempinski Villa. My daughter is touched by the kindness of the villa check-in lounge staff and still misses them. I want to visit the villa lounge staff again in July even if I want to meet them again.
Stunning hotel, very attentive staff and lovely well presented room with every amenity to make our 6 night stay comfortable and pleasant. Lady in Red team bought champagne, beautiful spa products and a basket of flower petals to our room for our anniversary. We also received an anniversary cake🙂 Thank you so much team!
First impression at the entrance grand looking however it was noisy, busy because any who can come to look see aka a shopping mall. Can’t sight the check in desk. No signage. When saw the service staff, been informed there’s queue for check in 😳 despite we were late checked in. Check in process, the hotel are more keen in selling their facilities such as restaurants rather then making you feel seamless check in or extending the warmth of home away from home, Big walk to the room and have to remember how to get back. After more than 40mins checked in still no sign of luggages. Out of the blue, next connecting door room had big abusive threats and shouting match. We were horrified. I knocked on the door asking if everything is ok? Instead I was insulted with profanities and threats. We were shocked. Got onto the room phone to dial front desk, concierge and operate, but non of the line was answered! We are concerned for our safety. We ran to front desk to complant. Was attended, but with much disappointment. The only staff member that was demonstrating she could feel our concerned was Ms Elsa who escorted us to our room before. I gotta rushed to my meeting ( all this got held up by inefficient check in procèss with waiting for luggage that didn’t show up) and adding to the horrific experience of riff raff guests that are staying there. I asked my son to handle our matter. 2hrs later I came back from my meeting I was told we just got a new room finally with our luggages, so it took 4 hours for us to finally check into a room and reunited with our luggages. Now we gotta rushed to our dinner at the Kora restaurant. I was informed that the manager is going to organise some form of compensation for the inconveniences, not only we were treated not so empathetic by the restaurant manager, I also had to again get on the phone to speak to the front desk manager! This process had taken away my dining experience and also missing out the visual experience of the presentation of our dinner course. Am I being sensitive to see this is super annoying? As we were told the 2 complimentary cliff lounge vouchers were the ‘compensation’ , after the dinner we wanted to go to the lounge and was told it was closed! I asked for a later checked out at 130pm instead of 12pm standard, I was told by the front desk that nothing can be promised as yet. Woo.. is this so called so much of hype and vibe 5 stars hotel core value is NO first? At breakfast buffet, to my surprise I was approached by Cliff lounge manager Mr Arya Wirawan. He was tactful, empathetic and sincere and quick to ‘fix’ our horrific experience with alternatives and options. His professionalism demonstrates he is the one that cut of the above of the hospitality charms. Thank you Mr Arya, you did fix some of our horrific experiences. …
Phenomenal service. Visit the Reef Beach Club. Awesome views, great DJ and drinks!! Have Asri and Eka take care of you. They are the best! Super friendly, attentive and made our evening special!! Thanks for the excellent dinner recommendations Asri!!!
We were staying at Apurva Kempinski Hotel which turned out to be our best ever holiday trip! From the majestic welcoming entrance lobby, friendliest check in staffs & great hospitable service attendants & big spacious Suite room with lovely pool to their delicious culinary skills displayed at all Kempinski’s F & B outlets, we were totally overwhelmed by the extra pampering in five star service attention rendered! The Koral Restaurant (with the big aquarium) was a dining experience not to be missed. We will be back again soon. Thank you!
