We stayed over for the weekend This is our third visit to the beautiful resort, and each time it doesn't fail to amaze. We stayed at the strand Villa through a Marriott bonvoy free upgrade. The villa was thoughtfully and tastefully done up with all the amenities you can think of. The villa was large (to say the least) with a view of the beach and sea. The pool was large and inviting, and there was a comfortable pavilion / gazebo which provided hours of comfortable lounging. The sun could be hot but the surrounding foliage brings in the shade and cools it down. You can fall asleep for hours. We enjoyed the TV that is linked to a Bose hifi set. It conceals at the touch of a button and gives you a full view of the beach. There are day curtains that provides the privacy when needed. Things like 3 TVs including one in the bathroom, rain shower head, automated toilet seats are all a given and expected. The spacious bathtub easily accommodates two persons, great for married couples. We dined at all three restaurants. Consistently, the staff was attentive to details and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that the food was agreeable. Boneka arguably offers the best buffet breakfast in the region. A nice mix of international and local cuisine. Their signature nouvelle egg is delightful. I enjoyed the foie gras served with a sunny side up. There is the river lobster omelette which was mouth tantalizing, making us wanting for more. Guna attended to us. When we were full, he remarked that we could always squeeze in dessert. He introduced two dessert that were off the menu, that tasted off the charts. Absolutely impressive and fabulous. The downside was that I had to exercise the calories off later. All the staff was attentive and was ever so eager to please. Dulang was a beautiful restaurant that served traditional Balinese food. You will also be entertained by a Balinese traditional dance performer. Food was certainly off the beaten track and tastefully done. It introduces the flavors of Balinese cuisine. We dined at Kayuputi on the last night. We had the wagyu beef and lobster. We shared a lobster soup with dumplings. Again they were absolutely delightful. For an Asian who grew up eating dumplings his whole life, this was really very good and enjoyable. The portions were small but extremely filling. A choice of bread made with different flavors all in one roll was served together. Eventually we didn't feel that we over-ate. It was just comfortable. The Deli at the lower floor provided a convenient lunch spot. We ordered beef rendang and a quinoa salad. They were beautifully flavoured. Special mention goes to Adi. We enjoyed the sambal and bought some for home. He checked our departure date and made sure we had a fresh purchase that was delivered to our room. And when we ate at the Deli, he gave us a very generous portions. That brought glee to our faces. We befriended Ms Ni Wayan Sariati, the food and beverage manager. We struck up a conversation easily. She was attentive throughout our stay and checked on us regularly to make sure we enjoyed all the culinary delights In short, you can never be disappointed with St Regis Bali. Having stayed at other St Regis around the world, none can hold a candle to this jewel in Marriott's chain. Not surprisingly, it has been voted the best resort in Bali repeatedly If you want to be pampered and get a upgraded definition of luxury, stay at St Regis. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to everyone at the hotel! We enjoyed our stay tremendously.…
Impeccable service. We stayed here after staying a night at the W Seminyak. The level of service we received from start to end was flawless and one of the best we’ve received at any Marriott hotel. Received an upgrade from a private pool suite to a gardenia villa suite was just the icing on the cake.
If we could give this resort a 10 star we would. Our stay was fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and provided beyond expectation service. We loved every minute of our stay. Only complaint was we should have booked more days. The service continued as we inadvertently left some things behind. My husband received not just an email, but a picture of our items asking what we would like for them to do with them. We had just boarded a cruise ship so there was no way to immediately retrieve them. The St. Regis was so gracious to arrange for a driver to deliver the items to our port stop 2 days later which was over 2 hours away from the hotel. When they arrived in port they sent another picture of the port authority to which they turned our items over to and asked for us to confirm receipt. What amazing customer service. We are so grateful to the St. Regis Bali and staff.…
5.0/ 5.0 You will experience the class of services and food quality here. The same amount of money paying for next door with Cliff Private pool + lounge access still can’t get the same value back compare with them: Hotel - 5 starts Services - 5 starts Amenities - 5 stars Room Comfort- 5 stars Bed Comfort - 5 stars Bath room - 5 stars Breakfast - 5 stars Afternoon tea - 5 stars The only point minus is during the booking experience. My booking through HoteLux, which indicated clearly about the compliment SPA, but after booking confirmed (non refundable) only informed that the booking is not eligible for the SPA compliment, HoteLux replied is the decision from the Hotel, but when talked to Hotel direct, they required me to screenshot to proof the offer and lastly the Hotel honored the offer. Recommended to stay with Marriot chains of hotel by signing up their membership now to enjoy additional rewards for each night of stay (non commercial).…
Words can not adequately express the quality of the experience and the life altering imprinted memories made during our recent stay at the St Regis Nusa Dua in Bali. First off, what a wonderful location with a huge white sand beach which stretches for miles. While we were there the beach was essentially empty giving the guests that private and personal Beach experience. The towel & drink service on the beach is impeccable. Indeed the service delivery in every aspect at the St Regis Bali is as good as any I have experienced anywhere. Period. Kind, quick with a snails, attentive and always so gracious, the staff are simply first class. We also had the wonderful opportunity to have our reserved suite upgraded to a lagoon villa. What a magnificent room with private pool, nanny’s quarters, separate bedroom, 2 baths, kitchenette, personal lagoon access and a short 30 second stroll to the beach. Amazing. Then when a tropical downpour flooded our front courtyard and we couldn’t exit our room for 3 minutes as they rushed to unplug the drainage system….no big deal to us….resulted in profuse apologies by mgmt and a second upgrade, this time to a beach front villa….well we now know what utopia looks like and Nirvana feels like. The St Regis staff in Bali “Had me at hello”….and then blew my mind. Amazing stuff Oh and the dining is superb!…
One of the best resort we have been to in term of service. Everyone gave their very best. Wonderful spa treatments, nice beach, beautiful room and Villa. Wonderful restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you so much to all of the staff who made our stay so memorable and enjoyable despite some rainy days…..
Amazing experience being in the Strand Villa by the beachfront. Butler service is top notch, no wait time as they anticipated all of our needs. Breakfast is world class. Lagoon swim os beautiful. Daily fruits of Bali served. Great quality of shirt pressing, and amazing coffee service. Will definitely return.
A huge fan of Marriott properties! The service is always impeccable and beats your expectation! My husband and I planned a little getaway trip from the city and away from the kids, just to spend some time in nature and relax. The St Regis was the perfect place just for that. The Nusa Dua area is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing time. The villa we booked was spacious, clean and very well maintained. The private pool was a huge highlight and we spent every morning and evening in there. Service was also excellent. The staff are very well trained and professional.
It‘s a fantastic place. The service is amazing, food outstanding and our pool villa with beach access was everything we wished for. If something is not 100%, staff will be doing their utmost to rectify immediately. I have stayed at various places in Bali and even the Nusa Dua region, but St. Regis beats all and in my view boasts the best stretch of beach there is.
I stayed here in room 610 (a king suite with garden view) for five nights in January 2023. Rating: 9.5/10 Positives: • Absolutely incredible service: easily the best I've experienced at a hotel or resort. I interacted with dozens of staff and every single person was delightful. When I left, five or six different employees walked me out to my waiting car, stood in a line, thanked me, and bowed – is this what being a celebrity feels like?) • I booked the smallest room type and yet it was still cavernous and outfitted to the brim with amenities and enchanting local design elements. It was also very clean and serviced impeccably each day (and night). • The grounds were clearly designed in such a way as to make this resort paradise (they succeeded) • The food was fantastic. Room service was quick, reasonable, and exquisite and the daily breakfast with its limitless offerings of the likes of seared foie gras, egg nouvelle, and watermelon juice was unforgettable • The Iridium Spa featured affordable and best-in-class services. I enjoyed a 90-minute deep tissue massage one night and a 60-minute reflexology treatment on another night. Both appointments entitled me to access the sauna, steam room, and "aqua spa" (an 11-step salt water circuit of massaging jets + a cold plunge pool). I had these facilities to myself on both occasions! Negatives (such is my affection for the resort that I state these merely in the interest of being thorough): • On one morning I walked out onto my balcony and, closing the door behind me, realized the malfunctioning lock on the door had latched automatically! I tried to pick the lock for some time before resorting to call the hotel (fortunately I had my phone!). Unfortunately, because it was still in the morning and I had not yet left my room, my room door was also dead-bolted and latched! It took the very apologetic staff an hour to get in and rescue me. I was not initially offered any credit for this experience but when I brought it up at check-out, the manager gave me a fair discount on one of the nights. • One thing I struggled with a bit was understanding the layout of the resort and how to navigate from one spot to another. A map at check-in would have been welcome. • I enjoyed the gym on a few occasions but found it a bit small – only two treadmills, one of which crashed for me partway through a workout…
