This hotel is an old hotel and was closed during the covid pandemic. But the plus point of this hotel is its cleanliness, even though it is classified as an old and large hotel, with very many rooms. In addition, this hotel is in a very strategic location, walking distance to the center of tourism and malls in the Kuta area, such as Waterboom, Discovery Mall, Lippo Mall and several well-known restaurants and bars. At the back of the hotel directly connecting with the beach. Room is quite spacious, clean and comfortable. Wifi is available and smooth. Cable TV is available. In the room there is also a wardrobe, deposit box, fridge, hair dryer and room slippers. The room also has a balcony that can be used to relax. AC cold and nice. There is also a swimming pool for both children and adults. There are Restaurant and Bar in this hotel as well. The hotel staff is also friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is very spacious, the car park is also quite large. The weakness of this hotel is the distance from the hotel lobby to the back of the hotel where there is a pool and the beach which is quite far, because of the large number of rooms in this hotel. Also some parts of the hotel and in the room need to be renovated. So, if you want to have a vacation with your family in a good location in the Kuta area, I recommend this hotel for you to stay and have vacation in Bali.…
Bintang is a lovely old-style Balinese hotel with lovely helpful staff, a fantastic buffet breakfast every day, and a fabulous pool all set in amazing gardens and on a lovely beach. We had an excellent massage in the hotel spa. The hotel is based near a very busy road downtown, but you hear no noise here. The only things that could be improved would be the internet, which at times was excellent but drifted out at others. The egg station had big queues at times, but these issues are minor in a fabulous resort.
I booked a Deluxe Room with Free Benefit at Bintang Bali Resort. This room states the folling; Guests enjoy the following benefits: - or minimum 7 nights stay, get one time 15 minutes back shoulder massage at the SPA - Late check-out until 14:00 I confirmed with the resort before my arrival that I will get a late checkout. They sent me a message via Booking.Com that yes I will get a late checkout. Imagine my disapointed when upon my check in staff argue with me and say no late check out!! The staff then start auction style negotiations 12:30, 13:00, 13:30 etc. I give up and walk to my room. Imagine my disapointment when I get to my room and there is only one bed when this Deluxe Room is states two beds included. I go back to the front office to speak to the manager they say not avaliable and someone else comes out sayong hotel is 100% full. Lies, Lies, Lies!!! These benefits are only if you stay for five nights. Lies, Lies, Lies!!!! I tell them to tell manager to come and see me. Management too scared and gutless and do not come and see me about this!! I 100% Do Not Recommend this Hotel!!! Read the bad reviews about how old and dated the place is and other problems they are all true. This is not a 4/5 star hotel!! I never tried too get something I am not entitled too!! Never Again!!!! I await your apology!!! The staff at the front counter are woeful!!! Check your messages you sent me, you promised me a late check out!!!!! I have a copy if you need proof!!!! I have traveled the world and this is the worst hotel I have ever encountered!!!…
We stayed 4 nights in Jan. 2 adults and 4 children (teens) in 3 double rooms. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, all nice and clean with good linen. The hotel gave us 2 rooms side by side and 1 a few doors along on the same floor which worked fine for us with older kids. The pool was great and we could always get a lounger and fresh towels. Excellent breakfast selection, probably the best we’ve had in Bali. Egg station a little slow though so don’t expect a quick omelet if you’re in a hurry. For the price, this resort is excellent value. We’ve stayed at the Bali Dynasty a few doors down for 3 times the price and this was better IMO. I like the old school traditional style which has a bit of character.
Value for money! Rooms are spacious and clean, beautiful gardens and large swimming pool. Staff are attentive and friendly. Close to the airport. A ten to fifteen minute walk to Beachwalk or Kuta Beach. If your looking for an affordable hotel suitable for families this is great!
Got a Great Surprising price for a connecting rooms (two units) for the price of Average of 1. I booked 4 nights Looking for a Place to have a Nice Holiday with My family. A Resort by the beach. I checked and red some reviews but did not think it would Be red flags. I booked through Agoda. And I decided to stay for only one night. Here is why: My reasons to shorten my stay: 1. The hotel is really old and very tired doesn’t look as good as in the pictures and I’m confused that it is not as what it says in the reviews. The lobby looks dark and a lot of falling leaves. Yes it has been raining and windy hard in Bali but I guess the staff is not so keen to catch up with the situation. I guess It has seen their past glory. 2. The rooms they said it has been renovated during the pandemic, but the rooms that we got the bed mattress is kind of old and you can feel the springs. And the weird part is the bathroom. The drainage is slightly higher than the rest of the area and the water from the shower leak out from the shower box making the situations to be not so comfortable. I have seen few rooms prior of agreeing to these rooms but I think I decided to just stay one night. Mr. Kurniawan the front Office manager a were very helpful and Willing to Help to release us. I guess this could Be a way to Help the Customer to easen up their burden. Conclusion: the hotel did not have a fair Product. Old and bad especially on the Bedding area. If you are picky on your mattress, stay away from this premiese. The staff all that we met were extremely polities and helpful. I Hope the Owner of the Property will do major renovation to refurbish this hotel as it has see its pass Glory.…
A very nice hotel with pool and beach. The beach is a bit lonely, no water sports. Can walk to other hotels via the beach. Hotel provided complimentary new year's eve dinner, beach front fireworks and fire dancers with live music. That was very nice. Good breakfast. Also booked a cruise from agent that gave 40%discount to nusa penida. Many of the staff are unable to speak proper English, just the basics. I asked the bell boy which way to walk to the pool. His reply was 'ya'. A variety of selection for breakfast. Stayed in room 1306 with overlooked some tropical trees and the room of a building. I really liked the pool. very nice. The elevator was dirty for several days and no one cleaned it during our 3 days we stayed.
It was located in a strategic location in Kuta, Bali. Altough, it was newly re-open after closing due to COVID19 restriction, the resorts and the amenities were pretty dated and many of the stuff didn't work properly. The quality and variation of the food were not great. Was it edible, yes it was. I stayed there for 9 days with my 18 months old baby. It was pleasant stay with nonstop glitch happening everyday. They were trying to mitigate the issues but it was just one after the other. They were really helpful and trying so hard to make this old resort works out well. The propery was big and beautiful. Unfortunately the beach were pretty nasty. I walked or take a local taxi to go to different beach across from beachwalk shopping center. The children club, were pretty creepy and needed some serious update. Will I stay here again? hmmm... for the location and price, possibly yes. …
Maybe just lucky with the booking - but we had good value for money. Breakfast ok (coffee could be better), pool good for kids if they swim (mainly 1,70 cm deep). Hotel seems to be nearly fully booked even in high season, and Kuta is no longer particularly popular for understandable reasons, other regions in Bali are far more interesting... so there are cheap deals available if you do a little searching.
Arrived late on Christmas night and needed 1 night accommodation before moving to a Villa on Boxing Day. We had booked a Family room (for 2 adults & 2 children) and upon check-in were told we had only booked a Deluxe room for 2 people. I showed our booking confirmation and was told we would be “upgraded” to 2 adjoining Deluxe rooms. The request for a ground floor room was disregarded and our rooms were on the 2nd floor. Walking up the stairs to the room, we saw a pile of faeces in the stairwell! Rooms were average & need updating. Buffet breakfast was also average. Have traveled to Bali many times & won’t be booking here again.
