This resort just keeps on giving, great food in all the restaurants, great room, large and clean. Second visit this trip and we will be back. Pools clean, plenty of lounges. Breakfast good, I just wish they would get better toasters. Egg station well done.

Bali Gardens Resort is an oasis in the busy atmosphere of Kuta. Beautiful well maintained tropical gardens, pagodas, statues, sculptures, pools and views. Choose and family villa, a garden view double room or a double room with balcony on the street side...you will be very comfortable. Very good food can be found in the "Boardwalk" a three part restaurant; over look the pools or the ocean. There is a kids pool and a wet bar pool. There is a pool where you can be child free or cool off in the infinity pool over looking the beach. And above all, respect the humble and gentle nature of the Balinese who attend to you. Bali is Australian's second home and generally, while I was there for my 5 nights, everyone was having fun "with respect". On my last night I witnessed the worst that Australians can be. A family group drunk at dinner. Disrespectful behaviour and a big embarrassment. So enjoy this lovely resort but not at the cost of your hosts.

Fantastic resort on the Kuta Beach. Good location with a lot of shops nearby and also close to the airport. The garden is magical. Amazing pools, very good restaurants, great massage service, very professional and friendly staff. It will be our choice again if we come back to Bali again in the future.

Excellent service and location. You are right on the beach. They have three pools including one that doesn't allow kids if you want peace and quiet. They have four restaurants. Everything you could want is in the resort so you don't have to leave unless you want to. Wonderful staff.

Just back from a 14 night stay at Bali Garden Beach Resort. The hotel is a short 15/20 minute taxi ride from the airport so after a long flight from the UK, it was lovely to clear customs then a short ride to the resort. On arrival, we were met by friendly welcoming staff, a theme which continued throughout our stay. We were quickly checked in and shown to our room (206) on the same level as the beautiful reception area. The room was quite big, a massive plus was the storage areas. A wardrobe, plenty of shelving, plus two large drawers, plus two bedside cabinets, aircon, a large safe, hairdryer, various body wash lotions in the bathroom, tea/coffee, and a lovely big fridge for storing drinks etc. The bed was a king size and very comfortable for someone who suffers lower back pain. A balcony overlooking a small garden area, lovely for a drink on an evening. Exploring the hotel, the gardens are beautiful with an abundance of tropical trees, ponds, lawns and various tropical flowers, all well maintained by an attentive staff. The walkways lead down to a small adult only shaded pool area and then on to the main pool which has a swim up bar, shallow area for kids and a large deeper pool for a good swim. There is also a smaller pool overlooking the beach, so plenty of choice and beds for everyone. The hotel has several bars/eating areas and also, at the front of the hotel, there are two bars/restaurants belonging to the hotel. Excellent and very reasonable choice on the menus ranging from snacks, to local dishes and dishes everyone is familiar with……Bangers and mash if you want them!! Breakfast is served in two areas, we used the buffet area but were told we could also use the a la crate restaurant upstairs if we wanted. Plenty of choice for everyone, an egg bar with amazing staff, local cuisine as well as the traditional breakfast choice available, sausages, beans, choice of potatoes, breads, croissants, fresh fruit, cereals, juice, tea and coffee etc etc. For walkers, you can either use the main road or the “boardwalk “ which follows the beach, left towards the airport, or right towards Seminyak. Here you will pass vendors with the usual tourist items for sale. They always ask you to look but never hassle you as in other resorts. A polite “no thanks” always worked for us. Loads of tiny bars on the beach for drinks etc if you want them. Just one word of caution for the unwary, you might get approached on your walk by timeshare touts, the usual “ oh you’ve won a prize “ brigade. Again, a polite “no thanks” normally sees them on their way. Ok, I’ve saved my last part of the review to the thing we will remember most about our stay……the staff. They are absolutely fantastic and a credit to the hotel. From reception, to room cleaners, to the bar staff, they are without doubt the best at their jobs. Always approachable, smiling and working hard to please everyone. I can’t praise these wonderful people enough for putting the icing on a very nice stay. It was my partners birthday while we there, a few cards from friends and family were opened and left on her bedside table by her, on returning to the bedroom we discovered a plate, decorated with a rose and message from the hotel, and a lovely chocolate cake. A lovely thought and well appreciated. Our first trip to Bali, we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Thank you all for a fantastic holiday. Nick and Jan x

Another amazing holiday staying at Bali Gardens Beach Resort. From the moment we opened the door of taxi we felt like this was our “home away from home” place. Not only is this a quintessential Balinese resort but the major thrill is the interaction with all the friendly and professional staff. We hadn’t been there in 12 months, but many remembered us and greeted us like old friends, simply heartwarming. From reception, breakfast, pool bar, restaurant, and Salon all the staff were so friendly and treated us so well. The facilities are world class, and you can easily just spend your time in the Resort if you wish. Drink and food quality is second to none and the prices are value for money. Well done to management and the dedicated team who keep this Resort in beautiful condition and deliver world-class guest services. See you all again soon.

Great location bang in the middle of Kuta! Older large traditional Bali Hotel - nice foyer pleasant staff at reception and also at poolside - beautiful gardens, lovely pool area - 3 pools. Rooms are large clean and a bit dated - air con was great! Breakfast was very basic and not very appetizing! Staff at the egg station was lovely - not much in the way of choice for a hotel this size! Toaster takes forever. Could do better .......

Garden, pools and staff were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. THe massage packages were very reasonable and although we didnt get a chance to use the restaurants they looked like they were great with traditional Balinese meals. Loved the location being right on the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel at 2:45pm because check in was at 3pm. The room was not ready so they sent us to a room with couches and chairs to wait. They didn’t offer us anything to drink or wifi. We waited until after 3:30pm for check in. I’ve never been asked to wait past check in time. We got to the room which was humid and hot because the air was not on prior to our arrival. The towels were worn and there was a stain on the bed sheets. The shampoo provided was the cheapest quality 2 in 1. After the first night we woke up to construction loud noise. The pool didn’t look clean. The pictures shown were not up to date. Pool and gym area were old and outdated. We checked out a day before we were supposed to and they didn’t even ask us why we were leaving. This stay was non refundable so we lost money because we had to switch hotels because we were uncomfortable. I do not recommend unless you’re looking for a cheap short stay.
