My husband and I booked this villa on booking.com for our honeymoon 2 months prior to our holiday. We also gave our credit card number and we received a confirmation for our booking . However , when we got there the staff told us they had given our room away accidentally . We are extremely disappointed and WE DO NOT RECOMMEND NAYLA BOUTIQUE VILLAS TO ANYONE . Communicating with staff was extremely difficult due to their lack of English. The management was extremely poor and there was no manager on the site. The staff called the manager by phone and she said that she can not do anything about it and will try to relocate us to other hotel. However , she did not answer our phone calls after this and every time we ask the staff to call her they avoid it too. Finally after 3 hours of sitting there and arguing with them, they told us that they can give us a room only for a night and they charged us the full amount WITHOUT any discount considering their mistake. Unfortunately we had to stay there for a night and go back to Ubud because the other hotels in the area were fully booked. As for the villa , I don’t think they had prepared it at all. The pool was extremely dirty and the water was green with rubbish in the water. The downstairs aircon was blowing out hot air and extremely weak. The shower drain upstairs had a very bad odour and the microwave barely heated up our food . This experience completely ruined our trip and we recommend you NOT to book in nayla boutique villas!! …
Big Villa. Quiet and private. Staff were nice. On the other hand the upstairs shower did not work, had to use downstairs, missing light bulbs in lamps took days to be replaced. Kitchenware inadequate for self contained. I got an itchy rash all over my neck and arms and I believe it’s from the state of the pool. I saw the one next door and the pool is green. The turn the filter off when people are t here to save money. Total health hazard and not cheap enough to warrant the run down state of the place. I am beyond disappointed. I don’t blame the staff it is owners responsible for up keep!
Had a good stay here it's a quite place you can hear some road noise the villa I had was great the bedroom upstairs and lounge dinning and swimming pool downstairs the staff are friendly but all can't speak really good English and the house keeping leaves a bit to be desired they will take you to the beach or main road but you have to get your own way home the breakfast is cooked off site so is not hot when it arrives but there is a microwave there is a good supermarket over the road for your supplies it's a long walk to the beach
The villa is super cool and fully equipped, the view was really nice as well and very private. However, the staff there arent professional at all. Firstly they dont understand english, so communicating with them was VERYYY challenging, which caused a lot of misunderstandings which led to several disappointments. The staff allow themselves into the villa if they knock and you dont answer, which was very weird and uncomfortable. The hotel itself is a little scary at night. The reception is extremely poor and the entrance is creepy, because there isnt a security guard at night and its really dark. We didnt feel really safe there.
My first night was super disaster! No water to shower and I don’t think they even prepare my room! Or else - all this can be avoided! Super disappointed and regretted to be here! REGRET!!! The team only told - they can fix this only tomorrow morning. The tv not functioning well too. Reason being - Raining and all was spoilt 🙄 The villa is dusty too. Im not sure if this is a spare spoilt villa? I hv no idea!! But I wasn’t WELCOME AT ALL! I miss home tonight! Dont join me here! Worst feeling especially you have a toddler with you. 😭
