We just back fro karma royal Jimbaran resort on Monday. Nice and quite resort. The resort is easy walking distance from food markets, restaurants and clothes shops.Beach is about 15min walking distance. Airport is 20min away by car. Sudi and Kadak was very helpful. All staff was friendly and polite. Room was nice and clean.
The Karma Royal Jimbaran is a peaceful place to relax with 12 or so rooms. We stayed for a week during Nyepi and COVID - so not a normal time! The resort is easy walking distance from convenience stores and local warungs along Uluwatu Street. It is about a 15 or 20-minute walk to Jimbaran Beach and the seafood restaurants there (you have to walk to the south around the Intercontinental Resort). It is a 15 to 20-minute drive to the airport in COVID-reduced traffic. The rooms are in two-story buildings around a central garden and pool. Thus, you are protected from the bustle of the street and Jimbaran. Our room had a large separate living/dining room and a bedroom. As I wake earlier than my wife, I could sit and read without waking her either in the living room or outside on our porch with views of the lovely garden. We did not use the fold-out sofa bed, but it would allow the suite to comfortably accommodate two couples. The bathroom was large with separate bathtub and shower. The small kitchenette included a toaster and refrigerator. A microwave would be nice, but we were eating our meals at the restaurant, out, or had a couple of Grab deliveries, so no worries. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and accommodating and able to give advice as needed. The room was clean and serviced well daily. The grounds and pool were always clean and well-kept. The restaurant was surprisingly good. It is open air adjacent to the pool and gardens. We had our breakfast their most days and enjoyed the omelet and nasi goreng. We had dinner served at the restaurant and in our room when we were not out. The steaks, chicken, and fish were cooked perfectly. They did not always have every menu item so be sure to have choices (we felt this was understandable given the few guests during COVID PPKM and Nyepi).…
This resort is a big disappointment! The room was dusty and we even found spider webs inside the wardrobe and cupboards. We sneezed a lot during our 5 days stay whenever we sat on the coach, even after the house keeping vacuum the coach and pillows. They should've known guests are coming but don't even care to do general cleaning. Not to mention the aircon problem and at the first night we are running out of hot water in the middle of the night. The only reason I gave 2 stars, was because of the room equipped with kitchen so we can cooked or reheat food and a spacious balcony overlooking the swimming pool. I thought Karma is a big name. What a shame!
One of the perks of Karma Royal Jimbaran is the walking distance to almost everything. My husband and myself traveled along with his mother. The staff was very helpful and polite and took to note that we had an elderly person with us, so they were more accommodating. We enjoyed our morning breakfasts and fresh fruits. The only flaw was the spa was not up to its mark. I felt it was rushed and not just for me but for my husband and my mother in law too. All in all a memorable experience with this resort. We would definitely go back!
We have just returned after spending 4 days at this lovely boutique resort. Being only able to accommodate for 15 villas meant that you got to know the staff who were always willing to do their best during our stay. We wanted a peaceful, tranquil and picturesque resort and that's what this place offers. The villas are wonderfully refurbished and very spacious and the food delicious and wonderfully presented by their head chef. We experienced a very rude American diner one evening that really shouldn't bother traveling overseas expecting the locals to understand her ridiculous demands. And occasionally the language barrier was noticed, but the team at the Royal were very caring. We will definately return to recharge our batteries at this lovely resort.
it was a wonderful and enjoyable trip that I spent with my family at Royal Jimbaran Resort in 2020. Even I managed to enjoy 4D3N there (actual duration was 8D7N). it was very awesome moment with my wife and children since everything seem like very perfect, such as walking distance (less than 100m) groceries, restaurants and etc. : ). Importantly the beaches are so close to the resort too. I wish I can re-visit and more days again with my whole family next year.
Stayed here many times because of the staff and the central location. Widi at spa is very good and I had some great treatments in the spa with a 25% discount for being a Karma member. The food in the restaurant is phenomenal and chef Pandi is a 5 star chef. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Bali and the red snapper is fantastic . The Xmas Eve dinner was award winning and some dinner events here in the past have been consistently superb. Herbert the manager is super and nice and efficient as is Dex Sudi on reception. Madi and Joni and restaurant staff are lovely and cocktails are really well made. Apartments are clean spacious and everything works, we have no complaints. My constructive comments from years gone by have all been attended to, such as no TV to run in restaurant and managers not to speak loudly on phones ya liking business while guests are eating. Thank you to everyone at this resort Taylor Hodgkinson, from Karma Guest relations is the best one we have encountered and the members dinner on Sunday night at the other resort in Jimbaren was really nice and we met other members at the dinner 🥘 …

My wife and I had visited many locations in Bali but it had been a long time since we stayed at Jimbaran. We chose Jimbaran for the proximity to the airport and the commercial areas in Bali as we didnt intend to do much sight seeing on this trip: just hoping for a week to rest and recouperate from a busy spell of work. We had visited the Karma Jimbaran before and thought that was where we booked but were a little disappointed to be roomed at a different resort, as we liked being close to the beach. In any case the Royal Jimbaran , which is smaller , suited us fine as the location and unit provided were nice enough. Despite being fronted by the busy Uluwatu road, it felt quiet and peaceful within the resort. The unit had a partial kitchen which was handy for us to prepare our breakfast once a while, which we often enjoyed on the large breezy balcony. The unit was well maintained and comfortable, but the resort had limited facilities. Wifi was adequate to stay connected. The pool was especially small. We did suss the menu at the restaurant but found it restricted and pricey. Luckily there are ample eateries and restaurants within walking distance. The beach could be nearer. We found the staff very cheerful, friendly and helpful, as all Balinese seem to be. However we were rather taken aback when we politely requested to confirm our outbound flight and print our boarding passes, but were told it could only be done for a fee, unless we are Karma members! While we have been impressed on our previous stays at a Karma resort, I must say I would have expected small things to be provided complimentary, in keeping with a premium vacation brand . After all, I imagine Karma wouldnt want to be likened to a budget hotel or airline. Overall, we had a great weeks holiday in the Royal Jimbaran.…
This is our second stay with Karma Royal Jimbaran. The staff and facilities here are wonderful. Peace and relaxation is created with the amazing environment in which the resort is set. The very knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you find the Best attractions to see and the best deals to suit you. We will be back.
