We stayed at the lodge for our first stay in Bali. Services at the lodge are simple but sufficient for what we wanted. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hosts, Meryl and Alan were quite pleasant and helped us with organizing our bird watching trips. The pool is clean and great for doing laps.

We were surprised to find something calling itself an ecolodge only 20 minutes from the Denpasar airport, but since we weren't deplaning in Bali until 9:30pm it seemed a much better alternative than driving several more hours to get away from the city. To most Americans like us, "ecolodge" often conjures images of spartan accommodations in a remote jungle/forest/bush setting...

I stayed here with my husband for 4 days and 3 nights, and we were treated with utmost hospitality from the time we were picked up from the airport at night. It was almost like staying at a friend's home since there are only 10 rooms and few guests at the lodge. Every morning, we were served a delicious breakfast...

We had a lovely time at this hotel. It was near the Dempasar airport so we stayed there at the beginning and end of our holiday. The meals were delicious , as were the friendly staff there. There was a room you could go to to make yourself a tea or coffee at any time of the day, and also...

-- and on your way home, too (we stayed two days after we arrived and the night before we left. Close to the airport, but off the beaten/Kuta track.) It is quiet and has a very large, lovely upstairs porch where you can read or talk or otherwise lounge and take meals. The food is very good, and the staff...

We love this place! It's quiet and out of the away but represents great value for money. The rooms are clean, basic with an excellent outdoor shower. They have a swimming pool set among the trees - as is the whole place. Usually we have the pool to ourselves! The dining area is light airy and overlooks the forest the...

I would suggest anyone who wants a quiet leisurely holiday with nature and other attractions to contemplate stays at these Lodges. We travelled lot aorund Flores, Sumatra and...

I've been in Bali several times either for business or just holidays but I love this hotel. First, it is in the middle of the forest, surrender but trees and flowers, super quite, and also near to anything (just a taxi away) Second, the people were amazing, the hotel is small so they make you feel like a family, the...

We stayed just for one night and it was wonderful, very beautiful, quiet and serene. The staff were great. We were very impressed and surprised that for an eco lodge there was air conditioning in our room, free internet and a TV for use in the communal room. Very nice touches. Very beautiful grounds with lots of walking trails. Lovely...

Udayana Kingfisher eco Lodge is a small oasis of calm in south Bali craziness. I loved Bali but it also tired me out cos at times feels like a tourist trap. Its hard to go off the beaten track and all other places i stayed were, yes, beautiful, but also so business oriented that sometimes I wished for a place...
