the best experience in a hotel, they upgraded me in a villa front ocean view 😱, quality of villa was stunning, staffs were professional and so kind. There RockBar is the best for sunset A must do. See pictures by yourself it was just Amazing. Thanks so much Ayana❤️
The location of this hotel is just amazing. The area of the property itself is very massive. It contains of 3 different hotels under Ayana management; The Villas, Ayana Resort and Spa and Rimba. As for us, we reserved a room at Ayana Resort and Spa for Deluxe Ocean View Room. As we drove to the lobby to drop off our luggage, the concierge welcomed us with the sound of a gong (I think this was a very unique and memorable gesture as I felt the staffs really welcomed us with warmth and were ready to serve all the hotel guests). The view at the lobby is just amazing with a spacious open space area and more importantly, the hotel is decorated with all kind of unique and traditional Balinese decorations. After done the check-in, Mba Ira assisted us to our room. I can see all of the sections of the property is under very great maintenance. Though this is not a brand new hotel, but I have to admit the cleanliness is just superb. Don’t expect this property will provide the guests with all modern or fully air conditioned area though. The property will spoil your eyes with many wooden buildings and even wooden roller blind (I felt this is very exotic as I could really feel the mixture of the nature, the Balinese, or at least the Indonesian culture with the luxury of 5-stars hotel). As we walked down to our assigned room, Mba Ira explained to us that due to this covid-19, all the rooms of this hotel would be sterilized for 24 hours after the previous guests checked-out and be ready for the next guests checking-in. The room is big enough for me and my husband. Again, I have to admit that the cleanliness is just superb (great job for the housekeepers. Even the dust won’t be seen inside the drawers). The bathroom is a modern style with many towels provided. The decoration inside the room is also very traditional with many wooden handcraft. The balcony is amazing that is facing towards the ocean. Breakfast is served at Sami- Sami restaurant below the main pool area, again, open space restaurant. Good thing that the breakfast was served ala-carte and I loved the Japanese breakfast menu. The view directly facing the ocean was incredible too. Main pool area is located on the higher level of the Sami – Sami restaurant. Too bad that the Hydrotherapy Seawater Pool were closed during our stay. Kids pool are available in this hotel. Kubu Beach is for in-house guests only. Thank you to Mas Wianta who drove us from the lobby hotel to the Kubu Beach by shuttle. Due to pandemic, this Kubu Beach were like a private beach. Mas Putu welcomed us, and also warned us about the corals and high waves. Normally, this Kubu Beach will have food available for the guests. But due to this pandemic, the restaurant was closed and only drinks were served. Another private pool can be accessed from the Rock Bar is also available for in-house guests. Be aware of the monkeys around this property as guests are not supposed to feed them. Overall, our stay at Ayana was just memorable for me and my husband. Hope to come back again soon!!!…
Ayana is always amaze us with their service, food, room and facility. We love the hydro pool, rock bar, and their wonderful breakfast. Staff is very helpful, the Hotel Manager is very friendly and humble. Thank you for the amazing experience Ayana. We will definitely will come back again!
We arrived at Ayana and immediately the staff embraced us with a warm welcome, beautiful lei of flowers, refreshing cold drinks, cold towels and after a long day of travelling to be here, it was such a peaceful way to start our Ayana experience. We were delighted to be offered an upgrade to the Villa’s, we accepted, however we both had no idea what subsequently would come. We arrived at our Villa and through the ancient looking Balinese Gates awaited one of the most lavish suites we’ve ever stayed in. Our eyes immediately caught the endless views of the Ocean, the water features in our private pool, the expansive garden & outdoor area inviting you to come and relax. The Living area and Bedroom were spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, but the Ensuite emulated a Spa for decor and size, our exquisite Tub was filled with flowers inviting us to become acquainted with the peaceful and relaxing vibes at AYANA. The grounds at Ayana are vast, if you enjoy walking, you’ll be delighted with the eye-catching landscaping, flowers and plants that drape themselves throughout the Hotel property. The Dining was splendid, everyone immediately will want to check out the Rock Bar, it was a unique experience sitting along the Beach, listening to the crashing waves on the Rocks while enjoying the captivating Sunsets. We dined at UNIQUE, SAMI SAMI, PADI and took in KUBU Beach Club, Martini Bar, H20 Poolside, Ocean Beach Pool and many other stops throughout the day. The staff were delightful, the service was excellent and the meals were all enjoyable. The dining experience is 4-5 stars at most the dining establishments. Ayana offers several Pools for any mood or desired pace for the day, we enjoyed taking them all in, the quiet River Pool, Ocean Beach Pool and the KUBU Beach Club were amongst our favorite. We’d suggest planting yourself at KUBU Beach Club and watch the Sunset from the edge of the Beach and wave goodbye to the Sun as it disappears into the Ocean. The Spa at Ayana is one of the largest and most comprehensive that we’ve encountered travelling abroad. The grounds are beautiful, the lounge areas are perfect to relax before or after your treatments offering privacy and tranquility. We both went for long massages and partook in the Aquatonic Pool offering powerful antioxidant benefits from seaweed and seawater, we both admit, we almost were swept away from the powerful therapeutic jet streams, but it was worth it. The small Shopping village was great, we purchased items at some of the Stores, if you forget anything at home, you can find just about anything you’d need at the Shopping Village for this trip, we often capped off our nights with some Ice Cream. AYANA and RIMBA offer such a pleasurable experience for any discerning traveller, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will most definitely return. We appreciated all the wonderful staff we met, the luxurious accommodations, elegant grounds and property and starting our Bali experience off the right way. …
We stayed at the Ayana for four nights to celebrate our birthdays. It had only just reopened, and it was clear how much effort the resort has gone to to meet new covid safe protocols. We had a lovely stay—we enjoyed visiting rock bar, the beach, and the cliffside pool. Gorgeous sunsets, beautiful grounds, and such a tastefully decorated room. Recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway in Bali, made for a great staycation. Thank you for having us! Holly & Andrew.
