The location is fantastic, the beach at Jimbaran is lovely and for this one reason I would always stay here. The actual hotel is huge, the rooms are well furnished but have a damp smell issue, the first room we where given had serious problems and a dehumidifier running when we arrived, various excuses given but we where given an alternative room which was ok. The Japanese restaurant was fantastic, well worth a visit, breakfast was pretty good.

This hotel was great with a lot beach beds and strong wind. If you like the wind, I recommend this hotel. I bought the club lounge access too, so I got another level of service, which I thought it was worth my money. The room was in the normal level of standard I thought. Breakfast was various but lacked local food. We tried breakfast at two places, club lounge and main restaurant. The club lounge gave me exceptional service. This will be the reason for our return.

This hotel is great located 10min from the airport, and waiting for you a welcoming and warmth staff. They are always there to help you and are very nice. The food is great. We never want to leave the breakfast area or pool bar. To mention how beautiful was a morning walk along the beach, free of caos and noise. When we'll come to Bali, we'll surely stay here again

The bell rang signifying your arrival at InterContinental Bali Resort, what follows next is an amazing experience filling your senses of sight, sound, feel, smell and taste. The art throughout the property provides a sense of walking through a museum everytime you are walking through the resort. The around of nature and water fountains create a sense of relaxation as one is simply lounging the afternoon away. The food is simply well prepared and delicious. The service at this property is truly top notch as the staff are both friendly and engaging as they share the culture of Bali and the resort. A must visit for your bucket checklist.

I have just spent the most amazing 9 nights at the Bali Intercontinental Resort and honest;y or was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’m loyal to the intercontinental chain and iHG company and this particular property definitely stands out, not only due to the beauty and attention given to the hard product (the grounds, amenities and facilities in general) but also the soft product - mainly the excellent service provided by the staff. Metri in particular stood out as an exemplar ambassador for the intercontinental brand. Our arrival to the hotel was made slightly chaotic due to our luggage being lost in transit, however Metri (club lounge and room division manager) was quick to reassure us everything would be okay (which it was) and made sure to let the hotel know and liaise with the airport accordingly. At this point we knew we would be in good hands with Metri looking after us, and she certainly did. Everyday Metri would make sure everything was okay and check in on us to see if there was anything she or any other staff could do. Touches like this really make your stay special and honestly, any members of staff that may have the privilege to work with Metri or be trained by her would deliver the most excellent level of service, going above and beyond for the guests. Of course, a special thanks should also be given to Monica at the club lounge, Widastara at the sunset beach bar, Wawan the personal butler and Sugiantra at the club pool. All of these members of staff went above and beyond; making us feel more than welcome. Many times it was like speaking to a friend rather than a member of staff. Without hesitation I would recommend this hotel, the facilities are immaculate, with a beautiful and quiet club pool, modern and extremely clean rooms, delicious food in the club lounge and at the hotel restaurants. What makes this hotel extra special however, is the level of service from the staff. Nothing is too difficult and everything is done with a smile. Finally, I wanted to reiterate the fantastic Metri and all the hard work she does for the guests, it’s obvious she’s had excellent training however it’s also clear she loves what she does and that’s what makes her service and interaction that extra bit special. Thank you all at intercontinental Bali resort for the amazing stay and I hope to see you again soon.

We stayed at the Intercontinental for 5 nights. We liked the clean, large rooms and professional staff. We were impressed that our room always was promptly made up after we left. The vast, well-maintained grounds include a wide beach front with many shady vistas. The whole west-facing beachfront is ideal for admiring sunsets because the water always reflects the setting sun without jetskis or paragliders getting in the way. We enjoyed the food and service at Jimbaran Gardens, especially the Saturday evening buffet and Kechak dance performance where we appreciated the advice of our waiter, Agus Darma, who explained the dishes in the buffet and the characters in the dances. We feel the Intercontinental Jimbaran is an excellent value.

The grounds and setting of this hotel are truly beautiful both during the day & in the evening as you watch the sunset over the sea in the bar lit by flame torches. It's also a really easy 20 minutes ride from the airport, which given Bali traffic can be horrendous makes it a convenient option. One word of warning when booking, watch out for the fact there are 2 club rooms/lounges. I ended up booking the Singjara lounge rather than the club lounge, which to be honest was a disappointing experience for the money. The club lounge is set separately with its own pool area, 2 hours evening drinks & canapes & high tea. The afternoon tea in Singjara was limited but not as much as the evening canapes which were basically nuts and crisps & only an hour of drinks. Personally, I wouldn't bother paying the extra next time & would just go have sunset drinks at the bar by the beach which was a much nicer setting, either that or pay more again for the club lounge, but I would question if it's worth it. I had several bookings as it was a mix of personal & business & the hotel had identified all of them, connected them so I didn't have to move rooms & kindly upgraded me to a duplex which was huge & perfect given I needed to work as I could do so from the lounge/dining area. The only slightly strange thing was I turned the aircon off for a while as it was getting very cold & there was excessive condensation dripping down the walls & making the floor wet because of the humidity in the eaves of the building. There are some great options outside the hotel for eating, the Seafood restaurants on the front were fantastic (try Hatiku - the first one if you walk on the beach to the left of the hotel). Balique almost opposite was the most beautiful setting & great Indonesian food & La Brasserie wonderful great value French food (oy take cash). Overall we had a wonderful stay & would recommend the hotel, for the convenient location & beautiful grounds.

Stayed here in May 2023 with my partner. Location is great, the main road to the hotel was free flowing even on peak hours. Hotel entrance is so nice at night with all the lights amongst the trees. Bellboy were always there to greet and welcome you; i feel this was the greatest feeling whevener i reached the hotel from elsewhere. They would greet you and every ready to assist you with anything. Check in was such a breeze and fast. The check in was done so efficient and private as the staff would let you sit on sofas while they process it. Reception is amazing with lovely view and Balinese design. Even though the staffs are everywhere in the hotel compound, i dont feel intimidated by their presence like as though someone is watching or following me. I feel safe while at the hotel compound. Hotel area is so huge and even though my room was located a walking distance from the reception, im intrigued by the Balinese arts in the hotel. The art works in the hotel was just brilliant. Room was amazing but there are signs of age such as the wallpaper, woodworks and the sofa in the room; springs can be felt when lying down for awhile. Bed was nice to sleep in. Room was near brilliant if not for the ageing furniture and the sofa. Breakfast was superb with many food choices and not forgetting the wonderful staffs. The swimming pool is in tiptop condition with wonderful view and the facade surrounding the pool. Love how there are koi ponds near the pool. There is a pool bar with many daybeds and towels for use. Access to the beach was such a breeze. Intercontinental Bali is definitely one of my favourite but i do hope they can improve on the sofa in the room. Highly reccommended for sure! There are many convenience stores, local warungs and nice restaurants nearby the hotel. I would recommend Balique to eat which is 5mins walk from the hotel.

Dear Shazwanmchaggis, Thank you for choosing InterContinental Bali Resort for your May vacation. We're glad you enjoyed the great location and the beautiful hotel entrance with its illuminating lights. The welcoming bellboys made you feel special upon arrival, and the check-in process was efficient and private. The hotel's Balinese design and extensive art collection impressed you. While the room was amazing, there were signs of age in the furniture. The breakfast offered a superb selection, and you loved the well-maintained swimming pool with its stunning views. Access to the beach was convenient, and you found many nearby convenience stores, warungs, and nice restaurants. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back in the future. Sincerely yours, InterContinental Bali Resort

Intercontinental Bali resort is a 10-minute drive from the airport, DPS, at a nice beach location. It's a huge hotel development with a myriad of pools, restaurants, and bars. The lobby level has reception and shops and provides access to the common areas. On the first floor, you have access to the pools, the beach, and restaurants as well as the full service spa and the gym. The hotel has two lounges, with the Singaraja lounge on the 2nd floor, which is the family lounge for premium rooms. The club lounge on the 1st floor is the top-level lounge for clubrooms, which has both the design and a service that brings you back to the golden age at the turn of the century. I highly recommend both afternoon tea and the cocktail reception with a tester menu and live piano entertainment. There is also a club pool with full service and easy access to the beach. The rooms are nice and big with excellent features, unless you want a suite, I can highly recommend the duplex rooms facing the pool. Unless you need to, there is absolutely no need to leave the hotel, it has all you need!
