Not sure how many times we have stayed at this resort, but our last trip was definitely the most memorable. We got upgraded from the Uluwatu Suite to the Imperial Villa (WOW). So we did spent the next 5 days 4 nights feeling like an imperial. The villa was just superb, it has practically everything. Huge living room (good for social distancing nowadays), private river pool and jacuzzi, spacious dinning room, an elevator (WOW), super huge master bedroom, luxurious bathtub with jacuzzi and tv, 2nd bedroom and ensuite bath which was also so beautiful and a grand piano! The team at Intercontinental Bali is so friendly as always. Thank you for Ibu Yuni Lestari who was helping us from the moment we checked in and throughout the stay. Breakfast was being arranged in the new normal way. Food variety in the main breakfast was a bit limited but we do understand the current limitation during this time. Breakfast, tea time and cocktails at the Club Lounge was above our expectation though. Our kids and mom loved the food and the ambiance there. The beach... as mentioned in this review title was always the best in Bali. It has the best sand, waves and also sunset view. Unfortunately in our first 2 days there were lots of garbage due to the recent heavy rain. This got sorted out so we managed to spend lots of time at the beach. Always wanted to come back to this place. Hoping to return soon.

The resort not in the best shape since pandemic may hit financially of the industry, however we still able to receive the good service but it can be better looking to the IHG standard. Pros : Good and big room Best location - jimbaran front beach resort with stunning sunset Good swimming pool Clean Club room facility High speed internet Cons : Not all pool in operation Breakfast lack of variety (everyday is the same food) When arrive no one helping with my baggage Will be better if TV can connect to netflix

We visited during COVID, so basically the hotel was empty and only domestic tourism allowed. The Room was great, refurbished and had a luxury feel, the bathroom i assume had not been changed and had a dated feel, the Butler was fantastic, great service. The location is good, beside the beach, the pools are large, the the hotel grounds are well kept. The availability of food and drink was an issue, the room service menu is quite short and basically only has the basics, but you can order 24 hours ahead if you want anything special.

This is a beautiful resort set off a busy road. The grounds, pools and spa are very nice. The beach is not white sand as advertised, but more a littered gray color. Booked room contained dirty couch, rug, moldy shower, smudged mirrors, squeaky chairs. I asked for re-cleaning which took several days with no visible improvement. The Indonesian restaurant on site delivered nicely prepared food to my Indonesian friend however my fish was broiled black. Staff spoke to him in Bahasa and ignored me. Upon check-out, I had to write four emails and call twice from Hong Kong to resolve the pre-paid bill which had been adjusted after I left. I felt they were either incompetent or trying to take every dollar possible. I would never return to this resort nor recommend it to Americans.
