We stayed here for just the one night in a family Kifaru room. This room was huge, having two separate bedrooms and bathrooms with a large lounge area in between. The room had a luxurious feel and was immaculately cleaned. Was close to the pool, but we didn't have time to use it unfortunately. The room is quite a distance from reception and the Safari park so you can arrange a buggy to pick you up and drop you off. With our package we had our dinner and breakfast included. Both were buffets, and both were amazing with so much to choose from. This is a nice place to stay to experience the Safari park at a leisurely pace.

Hotel's Favorite
We booked one night but definitely could do one more night there. The room is very very very spacious with the views of the animals. Loved how we could feed the animals from the balcony!! Everything felt very clean. The beds are comfortable. Nothing not to love about the room given. The TV channels are also good . The tsavo lion restaurant served super superb food. Both dinner and breakfast . We are able to see the lions in their enclosure . Abit sad to see how under fed the lions looks . Since we are in the bali safari park itself we were able to roam around for 2 days and get to cover many things except the waterpark. Hope to be able to stay longer in future . ! One of the best stay in bali. The pool is also big with views of the animals. Be careful of the balcony as monitor lizards and snakes can appear ahah!

Stayed in the Twiga 1-Bedroom Deluxe Lodge alone for 1 night in celebration of Lunar New Year.  Love the room which gave a clear view of the animals right from the balcony - magical morning!  The bathroom was under natural sunlight and all toiletries are been provided for.    However was quite disappointed that there is no way for me to feed the animals directly from the balcony as all the carrots provided in the room to feed the animals ended up in the water - it was simply too far for me to throw to the animals.   Will also like to convey my thanks to the male staff in Tsavo (very sorry, he told me his name but I did not note it down) who helped to arrange the 'Private Breakfast with Giraffe' for me alone, although it was meant for couple.   Great appreciation to him to offer to check with the restaurant manager (which one of your female staff told me firmly that I have to pay for 2 pax even though it's only me alone).  Thanks to the restaurant manager who allowed it too.  So glad to be able to have a beautiful breakfast on the first day of rabbit year with handsome giraffe, Singo Feedback - prior to staying in, I did email to enquire about 'Feeding the Predator' programme, however was only told to refer to the park schedule.  When I arrived to check-in at around 12noon, was told that my room was not ready and  'Feeding the Predator' was almost fully booked.   However since I was not able to go to my room and I had a heavy carry-on shoulder bag with me which I do not want to carry with me to feed the predator, I decided to go for  lunch at Tsavo first while considering the options and plan the various schedule for the day.  After the lunch at around 1.30pm, I was able to go to my room to put down my heavy carry-on shoulder bag and went to reception to register for the 'Feeding the Predator' but only to be told that it was fully booked!   I was just wondering can all these activities be better managed - guests be allowed to pre-book prior to arrival so that we can plan before arrival and not standing at the reception with a heavy bag trying to make all the urgent decisions immediately after arrival.  It will make the total staying experience more enjoyable.

Great staff, who helped reserve the booking, dining and transfer prior to arrival. Check-in was smooth. The restaurant staff are outstanding! Super friendly, attentive and the food is excellent too for such a location. The Night Safari we found a little sad as the big cats are herded towards your vehicle by another car with bright lights and the lions seem to perform by opening wide their mouths to accept a small skewer of meat. Daytime was nicer, wandering around the park early as an inhouse guest. Breakfast was, similar to dinner, excellent again. Our Room was connecting with my daughters -nice touch. Beautiful four-poster with views of grazing zebras, etc. My daughter loved it. Amenities in room are excellent too. It's a great experience overall but wouldn't recommend the night safari but definitely a terrific family fun place.

First off, I would recommend that you stay for 2 nights to be able to enjoy the experience. We found our room comfortable and clean, albeit a bit dated. The food was alright (nothing spectacular but tasty enough) and eating with Lions in the backgound is certainly a unique ane enjoyable experience. It was pretty special listening to the lions roar from your hotel room. You get a supply of carrots to throw to the animals outside your room (For us it was many zebra). We did the night safari, which was a great experience, but very short ( considering how much you pay for the experience). Note, that once in the park, if you want to feed any of the animals, you have to pay for the privilege). The pool is located on the edge of the safari plain , so you can hang over the edge and watch the various animals wander by (and the odd safari tour or two!) whilst enjoying a cocktail from the pool bar. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Mara River, and would recommend it as a place to stay,

** HAD TO CHECK OUT BEFORE EVEN THE FIRST NIGHT DUE TO BUGS** We were really disappointed with this ‘stay’ that turned out to not even be a stay. After seeing a tiktok on it we were super excited to come here. The animals were cool and the staff were nice so all was looking good until we got to the room. Huge bugs were crawling onto the top of the bed canopy and flying around the room. There was loads of geckos hiding everywhere too. The restaurant dinner buffet was overpriced and not the best. Do not stay here if you don’t like bugs in your room! (Im surprised that there’s so many good reviews, but I have found other reviews that found the same). We weren’t refunded or even discounted for not being able to stay either which is very poor. You get carrots in your room for feeding the animals which we were excited for, but realised not every room has areas the animals can reach.

Just arrived back from our 1 night stay. We arrived just before 2pm and expected to be able to check in shortly after but was told there would be an hour wait, when I questioned this they said it was due to being fully booked the previous night, in my opinion this should have no bearing on the bookings for the next day. Food options are very poor and the surrounding areas are very poorly lit for walking in the dark. The fire dance in the evening was good but unfortunately not enough seating so you either need to arrived early or just have to stand for the whole performance time. We had to wake very early to morning of breakfast as the restaurant is so big if you want a chance to sit near to the tigers that is the only option you have. The next morning on our way to breakfast we were offered a free safari trip to compensate for the late checking in the day before. This safari was very unorganised, when we arrived there we were told we needed to wait a long time as there was already a group ahead of us even though we had arrived 20 minutes before the first one had started. You are only provided a maximum of 5 carrots to feed the animals from your balcony so the experience is over very quickly. We tried to get some food from inside the park but you are forced to give over more money than you are going to spend at one time and then when we asked for a refund for the money we didn’t spend they insisted on giving it back in cash rather than back to the card we had originally paid on. The only saving grace to this place was fernando working on the front desk who tried his absolute best to help with all the issues. Overall this place was very disappointing, staff were rude and unorganised and I definitely would not recommend this place to stay.

Waking up looking at zebra's and rhino's, feeding tigers, lions, giraffes, meerkats, piranhas...we did them all! Very reasonably priced and kids absolutely loved all those experiences. Having a lion look over you when you have your breakfast is just a once-in-a -lifetime experience. The tiger show is amazing, never seen something like that anywhere. Similar for the elephant show although perhaps a little less exciting. The whole storytelling within the show ensures the kids keep their attention with it. The petting area was great entertainment while feeding ducks, rabbits and goats. Food was average but definitely not bad, perhaps a little pricey and no options to go elsewhere, but we were not there for the food! We visited in June 2022 and felt it was relatively quiet, full seats during the day but as we stayed there, we had the benefit of getting in early when there was nobody there and stay late ... while swimming in the pool during the peak and hot times in the middle of the day.
