We've been at Harish's place for 7 days. Homestay is such a cozy place to stay. Harish and his wife are among the most kind and warm people we've ever met. Our room was clean, spacious and equipped with both fan and a/c. Back-up power keeps lights and fan always working (in Varanasi power's cuts are quite frequent). Harish's house... More

Firstly, I'd say this is more of a hotel feel than a stay with a family. We went on a tour and ate a meal with Harish, but it all felt like we were there for money rather than a genuine interest for an Indian family to meet new people. We didn't actually meet any relatives other than the owner.... More

Harrish and his wife Malika are wonderful hosts. I felt like a friend at their dining table and enjoyed lots of great conversation. The room was very comfortable and such a nice treat from intensity of Varanasi. I also can't compliment enough Malika's cooking - incredible food that was delicious and easy on the tummy. The Homestay is by far the best B&Bs we have visited. Mr and Mrs Rijhwani are extremely helpful, they have a great network for local movement and sightseeing. He arranged for a boatride for the Ganga Aarti and even darshan at the Kashi-Vishwanath Temple. Mrs Rijhwani is an excellent cook and made us feel at home for the 2 days... More

A lovely oasis to retreat to after the hustle and bustle of amazing Varanasi. We stayed for 3 nights after being picked up from the airport. Dear Guest, What we, Malika and I feel, that we all human beings need the touch of togetherness and sense of belonging to the human world. We stay in Varanasi just for two days, but at the first day we were already making plans to visit again. Better to visit a magnificent city, is to visit and stay in a place that feels like home.
