Although a modern hotel in Agra as opposed to the previous two colonial hotels in Delhi and Jaspur we were definitely not disappointed. Our garden view room, restaurant, service, pool, and outdoor space was exceptional. As was the laundry service which took our clothes away and returned them washed, dried, ironed and delivered in a basket within four hours!!
It is a pleasure to finally write a 5 bubble after a long time but this stay definitely deserves this. I don't know what secret sauce The Oberoi brand gives to its staffers but it is really difficult to take away anything from the experience at the end of a stay, wherever we stay. The experience started right from placing my first call to the property. Rishabh handled the call in a professional and very polite way which we generally don't experience while calling other properties in Agra. Check-in was super smooth, room was wonderfully well appointed with everything working for a change. A complete surprise to us was their huge vegetable garden so all produce is home grown and absolutely delicious! Amit Singh was kind enough to give us a few samples to take home (still eating them Amit and thanking you every day). Everyone is amazingly polite, helpful and kind. Adarsh (exec chef) finally taught my 4 year old boy (who loved their pool and kids area) how to eat with a fork and knife! Keeping food in mind, their buffet needs to definitely be more inventive as compared to ITC and Marriott, it is woefully inadequate. If you guys are giving such an incredible customer experience with delicious home grown produce, all food items should taste like heaven with more variety. Since we are definitely coming back soon, this is an area I would love to see you guys improve (Told the F&B manager Yuvraj about this). Overall, this is a great jewel to the Oberoi brand and definitely the best option in Agra (we should know as we've stayed in all except the Amarvilas) after the Amarvilas. Great job guys!…
Situated just 1.5KM from the Taj Mahal this 135 room hotel is ideally situated to enable you to explore Agra. We had a ‘Deluxe Garden View’ room which boasted a view of the grass in between the hotel and the main road outside - the description therefore would appear to be a little stretch of the truth. Rooms are distributed across just two levels and there is no lift. The facilities in the room were OK. There was a standard double bed, safe/iron & ironing board/hair dryer. The bathroom was small with a bath (with an over bath shower unit)a and face mirror. The hotel made the most of the open central area at night with fairy lights and there is a good selection of shops with a good range of merchandise. It’s comfortable enough but nothing to ‘write home about’.
It was a great experience at the Trident. They had amazing food at the restaurant. Service is the best in town and they treat you like a king. I had a baby along with me and they ensured that he is fed well and well taken care of. Thank you team for such a lovely experience.
What an amazing stay at the trident. One of the best property I've ever stayed in. The restaurant and the hotel's ambience is really commendable. Hope to visit this place once again. They have beautiful swimming pool. Needed help in business center to print the documents and nishant immediately helped me from It Sector. Thank you everyone.
