Sai Palace has a great location just a few mins walk from the Taj and is very reasonably priced. However the hotel wasn't all that clean and I didn't find the staff all that friendly. The wifi also isn't very good in the bedrooms. Rooftop restaurant served good food though and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly.

We stayed in a Taj view room which gives glimpses of the Taj through the smog. (there is a youtube video of this room if you care to search for it) Basic room, bed comfy enough. Rooftop restaurant was phenomenal and unexpected. Cook went down the road to buy us beer after we ordered as they do not keep it... More

Stayed in double room no ac for one night, price booked on the day 700. Accommodation was simple but functional. Staff were helpful and polite. Price slightly too high, may be worth booking in advance, good location near taj.

The reception guys were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Bring your own toiletries as they do not provide any. Roof top view is amazing and the food is fairly good. Value for money.

The hotel was clean and served it's purpose of a decent cheap hotel near the Taj Mahal. It is in the middle of a residential area, so you will most likely have to walk to it, which is a very interesting experience, especially if you are use to a very 'western' environment. I never felt unsafe, and had no problems... More

Chose this based on location and it didn't disappoint- amazing view from the terrace and only a short walk away. The area surrounding the guesthouse isn't the loveliest but isn't a deal breaker. Staff were very accommodating, allowing us to stay 3 more nights in our room without moving on short notice. They also found out it was my birthday... More

We booked a double room with a fan at the Sai Palace. We chose the guesthouse based on its location to the Taj Mahal which was a 5 minute walk. We didn’t stay the night at Sai Palace as we were only in Agra for the day but wanted somewhere close to the Taj Mahal to leave our bags and... More

I sadly only stayed here for one night. Wish I was able to stay for longer. The staff were warm and friendly, even waited up for my late arrival. My room was basic but had a great ceiling fan and it was nice and quiet with a very comfortable king size bed with clean sheets and towels. The front desk... More

If you are not overly fussy, this is the perfect place to stay to visit the Taj, which is within short walking distance.( VIP.Buy your entry ticket the day before and get there as early as possible) Situated in old Agra the area is teeming with food stalls selling the most delicious freshly cooked food (Don't forget the pumpkin sweets/Konfeit,)...
