I arrived while there was a shortage of currency in India and the banks and ATM 's were closed. Not only did I get a warm welcome from Jagdish on reception, he helped me arrange everything I needed until I could get some cash. He is a very good guy. The location is perfect, less than a two minute walk...

The roof terrace restaurant (and my room) both had picture-postcard views of the lake and City Palace. Hard to beat. Room was spotlessly clean. Service from station pick-up to restaurant was spot on. Front desk ready to help plan any onward travel. Strongly recommended.

I stayed at this property for 3 days at the top floor (the second floor). The room had beautiful painting borders done all over, along the door, on the ceiling, everywhere. Although the hotel is not right on the banks of Lake Pichola, the balcony more than made up for it. The glass wall provided a breathtaking view throughout the...

Had two nights booked here for me and my father. We had a midnight train to catch on the second night so realistically we only stayed one night. Firstly, the location is really quite good. It's close enough to the footbridge that you can easily go exploring, but it's also set back enough that there aren't too many external noise...

Our room was on the second floor (no lift) and had a view of the lake through a gap on the buildings in front. The bed was hard, the pillows flat, and the sheets were ripped. There was no A/C, which in India is a big issue. We had a ceiling fan which was too noisy to have on all...

This is a very recommandable hotel in the middle of Udaipur. It is located close to lake Pichola and has a cozy roof-top-restaurant from which you can see the Jagdish temple, city palace and the lake. The service of the staff is excellent. They booked a bus from Udaipur to Ajmer for us, organized an elephant ride for us and...

We were not happy with the first room due to plumbing problems (toilet didn't flush properly), boiler that was falling apart and lack of storage. When we reported this, staff promptly offered us another room and it was a big improvement. Comfortable and clean with a great view (and better waterworks!). Restaurant was good value with helpful and friendly staff....

We stayed here for three nights and opted for the top floor room with lake facing balcony. View wise it was totally worth it. Pichola lake and city palace are at walking distance from here. The room was small though and cleanliness wise was ok.

I visited Udaipur in the week just after Diwali last year and I have been meaning to write this one for a long time. To start off with there is no shortage of guest house in Udaipur but to find a balance between budget , comfort , facilities, view etc is not easy. This one comes close! Amazing staff, we...

Fairly good. The day I visited I got the rate of Rs 1150/- for a couples AC room. Made a mistake as AC was not reqd. Got a ground floor rooms but still had a fairly decent view of Udaipur. They are pet friendly provided your pet is trained. Staff was cooperative. They even allowed my fairly large dog into...
