I loved my stay with Hotel Pratap Bhawan and would highly recommend it to anyone. We stayed here for 1 night during our Mewar tour (Chittorgarh & Udaipur). The room was very comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Good location with everything I needed for a wonderful stay. Hotel located in the centre of the city near to Lake and that’s...

We happened to stay here by chance as I had booked another fancier hotel nearby and stuffed the dates. Anyway they rang this hotel they had room, so they brought my bags up by porters and Bam! Hotel room with lake views. Fantastic decorated authentic style room. Now the only problem is lots of stairs to climb in any hotel...

It is an old building but it has not been appropriately maintained. There's mold on the walls and the bathroom feels like a public bathroom. There is no heat so when it drops to 40 degrees at night with rickety windows, its freezing. The acoustics from the loud restaurant travel throughout the building.

Hotel is in the centre, u can walk nearby places easily. Rooms get slight lake view but very cozy and tidy. Staff is so much supportive and it has a lovy Barbeque restaurant at roof. You can easily bokm from Booking. Com

I chose this hotel because of the location. As a lone traveller it was important for me to be in the centre of town and you can't get more central than here! Room was spacious and clean with a view of the Lake Palace and a private bathroom with plenty of hot water. I stayed here for 25 nights in...

No room service at all. Had to come down 3 floors to collect a bottle of water. You cannot even get a cup of tea. The restaurant charcoal treats Indians as if they're doing a favour on us. Not recommended at all. The manager was helpful and courteous enough but overall experience sucked the life out of me.

First impressions count. Super deluxe room was of standard quality and the promised lake view was through the window of the building opposite. The taxi booked by the hotel to pick us up from the airport did not know where the hotel was. Window seat was lovely but lacked any privacy from the staff member of the restaurant (empty) opposite...

A lot of what you feel about a space unfortunately depends on how much you paid. We stayed here in the peak December season which meant the rates were double of the normal rates. Because of this, value for money was not great. Having said that, the hotel itself is very charming. It tastefully done up throughout. The rooms have...

Pros: 1. Great location. Just about 5-10 min from major sightseeing places and local market. 2. Krishna at the reception was friendly and helpful. Cons: 1. Most of the old hotels in Udaipur including this one does not seem to have lift, so it was little tough on the part of my parents and us to climb 3 storeys every...

Good location near the lake. Staff are helpful but not at all pushy. The room had a comfortable bed and a window seat, which was nice. I wish that breakfast could have been included and drinking water provided. Rooms were clean and water worked. There is noise until about 11.30'then not until 8.30 am. The city does not wake early....
