The facility is lovely, a former hunting lodge with beautiful gardens and and excellent spa. Most rooms are at the back of the gardens; golf cart transportation is always available. Excellent staff, whether in the restaurant or around the grounds. There's one huge drawback however, one that's not the hotel's fault; the hotel complex is close to the town's wedding...

We have visited this place, it is a quiet place with lot of greenery in the campus. Rooms are quite big and food is good. They arrange some events in evening like traditional dance, songs etc. The national park is very close and they help in arranging the safari tickets.

The Taj went out of there way to do everything for us from the moment we arrived. We had a very long, late and delayed arriving train from Udipuir but had already arranged pick up from the Train Station with the hotel and in the early hours of the morning we were very grateful that our driver was there! The...

A great experience away from maddening crowd of Delhi in the lap of the mother nature. The place has been maintained very nicely . The staff is utmost courteus and cooperative. Chirping of birds and natural surroundings make it all the more attractive.

Staying here for two nights and the room we have is excellent. Very nice and friendly, but also efficient staff, who really make you feel very welcome. Food is also good and plentiful choice, with buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would certainly recommend and it is not too far from entrance to Ranthambore national park and also close to railway...

a rustically elegant hotel: great staff, solid food but not as refined as other more urban Taj hotels, which was somewhat compensated by great local talents singing at every dinner. amazing numbers of birds (according to staff over 40 species residential birds, more with migratory species) and fruit bats. overall great experience, for the price, wish the food is better.

Lovely old hunting lodge. Some rooms are long distance from check-in - free golf cart transfers. Large rooms. Good HVAC. Free wifi. Very good breakfast buffet and dinners. Comfortable bed. There's a wedding ground next door that can get quite loud during a wedding - fireworks and bands. That quieted down by 11 PM. Lovely verandah to sit out.

We chose the hotel because it was close to the Tiger Reserve and it exceeded our expectations. Built as a hunting lodge for Maharajah of Jaipur in the 1930's it has a wonderful yesteryear style but with all modern facilities too. Our rooms were stunning. Two of us enjoyed a massage after the afternoon tiger safari, which was fab and...

We had booked a room here for 2 nights so we could go on safari in nearby Ranthambhore National Park. Entering the lodge is like stepping back in time. While it was previously a hunting lodge, and you are greeted by stuffed leopards and elephant heads on the wall (I could have done without these), the lodge is atmospheric, comfortable,...
