Jungle Lodge is one of the most budget friendly Lodge in Sawai Madhopur.Trust me I was amused looking at the services and the amenities.Right from Air conditioned rooms to providing toiletries at such low tariffs is simply unbelievable.
This is a good budget place. it was clean and well kept. rooms were small but enough for a bed and a side table. we ordered food and it was like home cooked food. they also arranged a safari for us which picked us up from the hotel itself, so all in all we didnt have to spend anything extra. because we saved so much we were happy giving a tip to the boys.
The hotel offers room for accommodation which are air-conditioned and non air-conditioned.All rooms are fitted with an array of amenities such as cable television, telephone and intercom.En suite bathrooms are provided with modern fixtures, basic toiletries and 24 hours running water.
We stayed in the hotel for two nights in December, 2015. The great thing about the hotel is its location. Its right on the way to the tiger safari, yet not very far from the railway station or restaurants like Kanha or Ram Shyam where we used to have our food. The facade of the hotel looked very plain, and a chair and table was all that could be called as the reception. We had booked two rooms and thankfully we got two adjacent rooms which were connected through a small balcony. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were clean too. Unfortunately the geyser in one of the bathroom did not work, which was a disappointment considering the temperature was in single digit. Also, the hotel did not have any water filter, so we had to buy drinking water from outside. We tried to book the safari through the hotel staff, but they were charging 800/- for one ticket of 510/- and was absolutely not ready to negotiate, so we got our own tickets.…
I stayed here for 3 days. The hotel is quite cheap and has all the basic amenities but there is no Wi-Fi connectivity. The staff is very good and friendly. The only drawback I found that was the absence of an in house restaurant. Though they serve breakfast but the menu is always the same :-). Front office serve as a travel desk and can provide you with good information on places to visit and booking a safari. It would be a good stay if you are visiting only for the Jungle safari and site seeing.
