My wife and spent a weekend at the Ranthambore Regency and were very impressed, particularly with the staff. Never overbearing, but always on hand, the staff were all excellent and the greatest asset of the hotel. Our weekend started with the hotel car and driver meeting us at the train station. The driver rang us 20 minutes before the train arrived to confirm he was waiting and to make sure we had his number. This was particularly useful for finding him in the throng of speculative taxi drivers all saying they ‘were from the hotel’! Watch out for this and only go with the driver whose phone rings with your number when you dial him! On arrival at the hotel we were whisked effortlessly through reception by polite staff who spoke good English. After a short tour of the hotel and an introduction to our room we went down to dinner. We were met at the restaurant by our host Sanjay. Sanjay gave us a nice table for two and then explained all the dishes at the buffet and their history and origin. The food was absolutely amazing. Chef visited us at our table to check everything was ok and talked us through the ingredients, spices and cooking techniques. The food throughout our stay was superb. Our room was large and comfortable. There was the occasional bit of noise from honking horns on the nearby road and once or twice a dog could be heard barking but it was still far quieter than a city hotel. There is only wifi in the public areas as the rooms are chalet based in several separate buildings. I didn’t find this to be a problem as there was fast 4G reception in our room anyway. The purpose of our stay was to go on safari in the national park. The hotel handled all this for us and it was incredibly smooth and there was no ridiculous hotel mark up on the agent’s cost. The jeep picked us up and dropped us out at the hotel. We saw tigers within 10 minutes of arriving in the park! I know this is partly down to luck but I can’t help feeling that the hotel choose their safari guides very carefully. Check out was a breeze and our late departing train was no problem for the hotel who allowed us to stay in our room until late afternoon and the drove us to the station with a packed tea for our train journey back to Delhi. In summary, a great value hotel with the most amazing staff and superb food. Thank you!…
Amazing hotel with big rooms. Very courteous staff extremely polite. They make sure they serve you food that you prefer as per your taste. The hotel is very clean. They arrange safaris for you as well. The food here is no.1 .
This beautiful property is located ten minutes away from the famed Ranthambore National Park. Rooms are large and spacious and the property has a vibe which makes it perfect for families and groups. The property is neat and clean with very helpful and friendly staff. The food is nice too. I had a very pleasant stay here thanks to their wonderful hospitality and the best part was they arranged a fantastic Jungle Safari for us where we managed to spot numerous wild animals and two tigers.
We came to Ranthambore for Safaris and Tigers of course. But we met the staff of Regency. From Booking to Checkout they were really taking care of us and the kids. Great Thanks to Sanjay, Errol and Manraj for the good time we spent. The team is great and the facilities are good. Some of the rooms need to be renewed. Internet should be provided free of charge in all the facilities. They need to change their policy.
This was not my 1st visit to this place and increasingly I cannot think of any other place to stay when I am in Ranthambore. I am a traveller who values care, attention and good food and Ravindra Jain and his team knows hospitality like the best in the business. Amazing food, prompt service, Clean Rooms and Toilets and a brilliant crew, all this make Ranthambore Regency a memorable place to stay. Keep up the good work guys. You make Ranthambore worth many more visits.
