OK its an RTDC place...but service still could be better...whats bad is that to end up paying almost 10%-12% more on exit...and it says--> taxes extra...while the hotel would be pricy itself...be ready for another 10%... further internet bookings for safari is also an RTDC eye wash...what you pay is only 5%...come here and pay the remaining....looks like an organized... This property has one of the best locations in Ranthambhor. That is the only saving grace, otherwise it`s got the worst attributes for a holiday stay. The room was big and airy. With a balcony, to boot. A very good view from the balcony, if you`re on the top floor. An even better view from the rooftop. But, the food........ More

The view from the terrace is mind blowing. Wildlife e.g. two three species of deer, peacock and variety of birds are visible in the yard itself. Service okay. Food acceptable, though there remains room for improvement. Price of food is included in the tariff. The staff behavior cordial. Wi-Fi available only at the lobby - signal strength not strong. The... I have a long association with RTDC dating back to mid nineties. While in Rajasthan six years back, for over seven years in the state, I would typically stay in a RTDC Hotel across western and southern Rajasthan. Always had a desire to visit Ranthambore and stay in this heritage property of RTDC called Jhoomer Baori. I got the chance... More

Excellent place to stay if you are a lover of Indian forests and wildlife. The accomodation is in the middle of the forest on top of a hillock and is part of zone11 of the sanctuary. The place is basic, rustic but has its own charm. If you need 5 star luxury, there are enough expensive resorts including the Oberoi... More

decent room, excellent staff. manager is very cooperative and understand guests needs well. my son is amused to see deer, rabbits, peacock and other wildlife within paring lot of hotel. tiger roar's in nights were spine chilling - but amazing to hear in rooms.

This is the RTDC's only property in the area that is well in to the forest and gives you a feel of being in the wild. Rooms are cleaned and well placed. Good and sober decor. Fantastic view but need some regular maintenance of the old building. If you are lucky, you can even see tigers and leopards without even... More

This is the only property in the area that is well into the forest area and gives a feel of being in the wild. Though an old building and needs maintenance, the view from the terrace is breathtaking. If you are lucky you can even see tigers and leopards without even leaving the hotel. For the wonderful location, the price... More

It has the advantage of being away form the city unlike most other hotels in Sawai Madhopur...but it is just average...don't expect heritage like service and rooms though they have tried to...it is not worth the money....food is below average...no much variety to offer...sitting a little elevated it offers a good view...the people claim to have spotted some leopards as... As a RTDC Property, It definitely has a very nice location. Value for Money compare to very costly resort in that area. It's decent place to stay with good staff. If you are not looking for any ultimate luxury it's really a good place to stay. Jungle safari picks you from the hotel and drop you back after safari so... More
