A truly unique experience. Perched on top of a hill inside the wilderness of Ranthambhore, this is a must stay for everyone coming to Ranthambhore. The location is superb, tigers and leopards are spotted everyday from the hotel by few lucky people. The staff makes you feel at home and the manager is a knowledgeable veteran of the area. Food is simple but delicious. For all the non veg lovers I recommend the chilli chicken. The rooms and facilities are basic as expected from a RTDC property but the location, view and staff makes up for this.
This is the perfect place to stay inside jungle(buffer zone) one can sight leopard Nd can listen calling alarms, This place is old castle and they have maintained it well.Food is also very good, Dharmandr Ji is very helpful person.
I booked a regular room and asked for top floor room. The overall experience was amazing. The resort is actually an old house which is converted. You get a feel of older structure. When we checked in, there is only one more room booked. So most the rooms were empty. It was bit scary considering the older structure and resort being in the middle of jungle. Although, it was a different experience. I already booked the safari and in RTR, you need to check-in few hours before you start the real safari. I asked the counter about this and he told me, it will chart 2000 Rs per safari for check-in and Gypsy will pick us yup from hotel itself. fortunately, I ignored him and asked someone else. He did it in 500 Rs for 3 Safaris. Other than that the experience was good. The food was homely and decent. It was not like a 5 start affair but decent food. Considering there were two families in the resort, they instead served to us rather than arranging buffet. It was basic but tasty food with a sweet. I and specially my kid loved the experience. One of the night, a leopard came near the resort. Someone from pantry shouted and he/she ran away. Unfortunately, we couldnt spot it.…
as it is under the hands of the govt, the place is in shambles. it needs maintenance. the rooms need to be cleaned and made more hygienic. not an attractive place to stay. but the tourists can see the baori and stay at other hotels.
Very comfortable stay. We made a family trip with friends. We took 2 types of rooms, standard and suites. All rooms are very nice and clean. The food was included and very tasty, lots of varieties. Overall excellent experience..
