Considering we paid 250$ a night I'm not very happy. The first day we came they had to close the pool because somebody has pooped in it. So it was closed the rest of that evening and all of the next day for cleaning and maintenance. And then the next day when it finally was open again the water was...

Dear guentheranna, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review regarding your recent visit with The Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. It was disappointing that the pool had to be closed 2 times during the week. However, as you stated, the pool had to be closed for health and safety issues. I sincerely apologize that we were not...

It was two adults and a 17 yr old who stayed at the resort during the Xmas weekend. Pros: Walk a couple of flight of stairs and get to ski lift Ski rental shop allows you to check in a day earlier to pick up gear. That's nice. Ski gear can be stored in the resort so no need to...

This Resort has a few buildings within walking distance from each other. They are located within walking distance to the base of Mountain or they also have complimentary shuttles. We stayed at the Mountain Spirit Condos. We had a large group and every room was uniquely decorated. Some rooms needed some updates such as appliances and TVs (not a deal...

Stayed for 3 nights with family. The rooms need to be updated desperately. Too dark, old carpet and old bathroom fixtures. The beds were very comfortable though. Wifi was super slow, and housekeeping came at 7:30pm to clean our room! They didn't do it the previous day either. I understand the hotel was full to capacity but at least have...

We loved our room. Clean, spacious yet cozy. Lodge has good restaurant, Starbucks, pizzeria and easy access to ski trails. People at front desk were very warm and welcoming. The children's ski school was amazing. Pizza at Chiantis Pizzeria was amazing. I wish we could stay more. Thanks for making it memorable.

We stayed in an older (1970s) property in the Sun Lodge. The accommodations were nice, clean, and well kept, but very dated. The people at the resort were helpful and friendly. The beds were too soft. The pool was miniature. Other amenities were not available to us.

Angel Fire is a very small NM village. When you see the word "resort," know that it is a misnomer. You will find an exceedingly family-friendly, laid-back, comfy lodge in a spectacularly beautiful location with lots of excellent outdoor activities year-round. If what you really want is a 5-star spa, however, you probably want to go somewhere else. Angel Fire...

My wife and I stayed here in July, so no skiing - but we had a great visit. The lodge is nice and the rooms are arranged to minimize noise from the hallways. The rooms are decorated in rustic wood and are very welcoming.
