On arrival greeted with drinks and cakes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with ever facility one could need. We slept very well, comfortable bed. As well as in our room outside there were several areas for relaxing in, comfortable interesting surroundings. Very good food for dinner and breakfast, where we had the best masala omelettes in our months stay in India. Very well placed for exploring Jodphur and with it being near the Clock Tower for a focal point.
We stayed at Pal Haveli for a couple of nights in March 2020. The ground floor room was breathtaking, very Indian in decor and with all amenities. Ate on the rooftop restaurant one evening. The food was top notch with tremendous views of the fort, which is beautifully illuminated at night. The hotel location is right by the main area of town so good for a private stroll too.
If you like to get about in the local streets and markets then there is probably not a better location than this. Excellent, large room, good service ( a step up from our visit 2 years back ) and the rooftop terrace restaurant serves great food with a view. Breakfast can be a bit of a fiddle as the buffet table is very small , so pick your times if you can. The hotel is showing it's age in a few places ( bathroom eg) but i'd still stay there on a return trip to Jodhpur
This is a lovely small hotel with unique rooms and several courtyards. Afternoon tea is complimentary under the tree in the main courtyard. The rooftop bar and restaurant is perfect for watching the sun set over the fort, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The location is excellent, close to the Step Well with its cafes and boutiques, and the Clock Tower Market. Our small group was at the Pal Haveli for Holi, and the staff made it even more fun with celebrations before we set out in the city. The small shop on site was also excellent, with different artisan products that we couldn't resist.
We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was amazing and the hotel is very central. The highlight must be the roof top restaurant with views of the fort which is truly amazing. The dinner was excellent, breakfast maybe less so but overall a great place for exploring Jodhpur.
