Stayed 5 nights. The room was clean and a good price. The staff were super friendly, always keen for a chat and genuinely cared about the guests. Comfortable rooftop restaurant with decent food and wifi. Occasional hot water.

Hotel is quite clean and Ok. our "non touristic" safari for which we paid 1000Rs per person was Ok, but the seats on camels ware so inconvenient that we had to leave next morning with bloody marks on our backs. By the way, we paid for 2 nights and nobody returned us money back, even didn't proposed a room for...

I was welcomed in a very kind way with free Chai on the cosy hotel terrace. When I told armin, the hotel owner that i just wanted to spend one night in the desert because I was mainly interested in learning the kalbalia (cobra gypsies) dance and music, he told me that it was possible to get a safari to...

The room I had was good and the wifi worked most of the time. Tea was plentiful. The restaurant was usually empty of other travelers most the times I was there. Once there was a big family group of Indians having breakfast before their camel safari. Peaceful, but isolated. If you're looking to meet other people, head into the Fort....

Peacock Hotel is a clean and nice budget hotel not far from the Jaisalmer fort. The interior of the hotel is very authentic, one can experience the spirit of the eastern life staying there. Friendly hosts bring you free greeting tea after check in and do everything for you comfort. Safari was great, even our caprices were finally satisfied. Many...

Location is quite perdect - Fort of Jaisalmer is within 10 minutes walking throughout main market. Amin, the owner of the hotel, is very attentive and pleasant person whom you can count on. Boys who led our camel trip in Thar desert were extraordinary attentive and friendly - cook very tasty, sing marvarian songs very good. Nights in desert were...

This beautiful and clean hotel belongs to the most nice people you will find! They made us fell at home and helped us with everything we needed-booking buses, found guesthuse for us at the next place we went and even let us rest at the room after the checkout. Not to mention the desert safari they took us and the...

This was an excellent budget option, with a warm welcome and hosts who will go out of their way to give you an enjoyable stay. The boys working in the kitchen are great fun to be with, and the manager will organise non-touristic camel safaris to the dunes with reliable guides and a meal and overnight stay included.

Great destination for the back packing crowd. Warmth of Dinu and his friends was refreshing and had a sense of making a new friend. Like most places in Rajasthan, you find big steep steps; which you'll get used to. It's a home converted into a home stay style accommodation. The rooms are spacious and give a sense of being well...

We had a good experience stayed with Peacock Hotel during our two nights in Jaisalmer. The location is good, with less than 10min to walk to the fort. The rooms were clean, spacious and well up to the mark for the R300 price we paid per night. There is a cosy roof terrace where most of the (young backpacker) guests...
