This is best camp to stay near Sam Dunes Desert ... Loved the tents. . facilities were more than expected and the staffs were very kind and concerned. The staffs help you book camel n Jeep safari at good deals. Cultural programme and dinner arrangements were very good n memorable :-)

After being scammed out of INR 6500 by Mr. Ali Khan and Maru Khan from The Helsinki House it was by god's grace that I was able to find Mahadev Resort in Jaisalmer. I was so distraught after my terrible experience at "The Helsinki House" that I thought of cutting short my Jaisalmer trip and leaving for Delhi. But I...

Mahadev Resort is situated in a location close to all the places where the action is going on. Sam sand dunes 5 min drive, camel rides provided from the resorts, jeeps available for dune bashing. The tents were spacious and the beds were good and comfortable king size. They serve vegetarian food which was good quality. The resort manager organized...

An average resort, located near the sand dunes. We reached at around 8 pm and missed out on folk performances, there was DJ/lights for visitors near the central area. Provision for woodfire, decent staff, limited food choice but manageable. Lack of a room heater is obviously a BIG negative as winter is the tourist season, and it can get pretty...

The destination is good, but really badly organised to give you that dream Jaisalmer experience. I was really saddened by the stay arrangements, the new year eve party and the food, The snacks and buffet items repeated for both the days. It doesnt look like they expect people to stay more than a day EVER. Next, putting together an experience...

Not very luxurious. Food quality and taste is also very normal. Not much clean. Blankets, bedsheets and towels are repeated without washing. Can get much better resorts in same price range. Staff is cooperative.

It 's a cool place to stay. We went in the first week of November so there is no much crowd. We thought this place is right opposite to sand dunes but it is like half a kilometer from the sand dunes. Still it is good. Definitely recommend this place to my friends.

“don't Book hotel in city, just book the camp near sand dunes. Take Luxary tens over cottage one ( On site however the cottage looks more appealing) Do not take the camle ride from Camp( even if its free) rather try to drive down till last point and take a camel from there.. this way you can travel and explore farther and save lots of time. try to return to base camp by 1930 to enjoy the night show..”
