This hotel oozes kindness, efficiency and helpfulness. All photos are taken from the hotel or next to it. Each staff member is thoughtful and respectful. They are each pure in intent and sweetness. The central location means you are safe to walk everywhere in town. Careful for the goats, cows, Tuk Tuks and motor cycles!

Had a great stay at the hotel. We reached Jaisalmer around 6 am and Soukat was waiting for us at the reception and arranged the room very quickly for us to retire. Rooms very neat and it's walkable distance from most of the important sight seeing locations. They had very nice spread of buffet breakfast at the mid level of...

It is a great hotel. Walking distance from shopping areas, from heritage sites. Shaukat, the man in charge, was very courteous, helpful. Never once lost his cool, despite the crowd.Good breakfast too. Quite sumptuous. The caterer, Vikram Singh was very solicitous. Roof top is breezy. has a glorious view of the Fort, which feels like it is in touching distance....

This hotel gave us (I am traveling with my wife and another couple) the best first impression so far in India and it lived up to it. It is situated in a lively section of town, just 5mn walk from the Fort entrance. The reception area is inviting and large, with one of the Ali bros (older brother bought the...

You can walk everywhere from here including the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, Gardisar Lake, and the Desert Cultural Centre (catch the English language puppet shows there most nights - this place is saving a dying art form). Rooms are very comfy and nice. The owner is splendid and very helpful. The hotel gives you free maps so you know...

My room was lovely The windows were covered with drapes which filtered light and when I i peeked through them, the surprising view of the local recycling plant - a yard full of mammoth bags of rubbish in the process of being sorted by two young girls and an even younger boy. In case you are wondering there was no...

From the very start by email the owner Asraf Ali had organised our transport from Jodhpur airport. The driver was duly waiting despite our flight being significantly delayed. A few hours later we had a wonderful welcome at The Mystic. The staff were very friendly and quite charming. Nothing was too much trouble and this continued for the next 3...
