Super stay, from the moment we arrived we loved every second of our stay, amazing hotel with superb staff, rooms were lovely n clean and breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend and would certainly stay...
We used the cab to visit the Jaisalmer Fort (a Unesco World Heritage Site), Kuldhara (an abandoned village, with an interesting conspiracy theory behind it), a Camel Safari (see below) and the War Museum.
This guest house have a different name in trip advisor and in booking (Maharaja guest house) This is a not comfortable for women and this is famous in Jaisalmer for many bad things. I knew people in this city and they told me that many times something happens and chitting.
This place is fantastic and the food is great BUT if you go on a desert trek don’t do more than one night! The ‘desert’ is a patch of sand around an acre in size. The multi-night desert trek simply goes in a circle around this patch or jumps to another smaller patch. Your days are spent sitting around in impoverished villages and arid farmland - not in the rolling desert sand dunes they advertise in the photos.
Eau chaude! Chambre propre !
I was staying in the hostel for few nights and I had very nice time. Good and clean rooms, helpful owner. The place has a great location in the center of Jaisalmer, you can spent your days just chilling at the rooftop with an awesome view, recommend to stay:)
