This place was suggested by my mom's friend. But he had not described anything about it. So apart from expecting a decent place to stay, we did not have any great expectations.
As soon as we entered the property, we saw numerous trees which enclosed a green roofed structure that was like a rowhouse, and directly in front of us there was a beautiful garden with swings and benches. Farham, the owner was also there to welcome us.
The rooms at the hotel are very big and spacious. The height of the ceiling is double the normal height because it is a single storied structure with a slanted roof. The bed is very big and comfortable. The bathrooms are large too and have attached changing rooms which is very ideal. Hot water is available all day and even the force of water in the shower and the other taps is very good. Apart from the bed the rooms have ample empty space with a comfortable sofa to sit on. There is also a television set in the rooms. Outside each room there is a small table to eat so we don’t always have to go to the dining room to eat our food.
The food served was very delicious. Lunch and dinner were served with soup as the starter and ended with a desert. Evening tea and coffee was served at the perfect time and this too was very pleasant.
There was a table tennis table and two pool tables in a room and there was a badminton court too. We played a lot of badminton and table tennis.
Overall our stay at the Il palazzo hotel was superb and way above our expectations. If any of you’ll ever plan to visit Panchgani I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had stayed at Il Palazzo on 2 prior occasions and our trip in December'20 was the first trip after the long lockdown and also a chance to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the market area, has a nice cozy garden and the limited number of rooms are large and very well maintained. Each room also has its own private dining area in the verandah where all meals are served and the dining hall is for a large group.
Mr. Faram who runs the place was as usual very hospitable and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The food at Il Palazzo is their highlight and all the delicious Parsi food dishes are absolutely to die for!! The stay package includes breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner and Faram literally pampers each and every guest just like they are his family.
The Hotel followed all Covid-19 guidelines in terms of sanitizing the rooms and all common areas and all staff members who are extremely courteous were always wearing face masks. Il Palazzo is a MUST visit if you are planning to visit Panchgani and I would call it a Home away from Home!!

Our 2 nights stay at the Il Palazzo was extremely hospitable. The place is a heritage property with a beautiful garden scape. Provisions of all modern facilities is available and there is much more.
As a centrally located property, a 5 min. walk is all the effort you need in reaching the heart of the Panchghanni market.
At Il Palazzo Hotel, the meals are the stars on their shoulder and any foodie will come back for more...
The management headed by Mr.Faram (Falu) took special care of our safety and service. The staff are well trained and use all the necessary safety equipment, like sanitizers, gloves and masks. Overall, superb!

This is one of my many visits to this beautifully small, exclusive Boutique & a Heritage property and I could not miss writing my review this time. This would surely not have been possible if it weren't for the watchful eye of the Man behind the show - Faram. He was there at every juncture to ensure that our stay was no short of PERFECT! The room was wonderful: extremely comfortable and charming, nicely equipped and designed and the sit-out in front gave our own private space to relax and eat or read. It has a swimming pool beautiful garden well maintained with colour full flowers. The food is the best part especially if you are a foodie. All 3 meals have generous helpings and there is not a single dish repeated. Patra ni machhi, fish fillets, salli chicken, Dhanshak name it and you will just gorge on them. Deserts are a must although you are stuffed with so many dishes you just cant miss the deserts custard, fruit salad, pudding etc...uh lallalla. One night we had chaat which was well layed by Faram....Pani puri, dahi batata puri, dahi vada, sev puri, bhel, ragda pattice a complete chaat plaza served by our dear Faram. Name it and you will be served ..........God bless this man and his TEAM the cook, Dilip the man who kept on bringing food with a smile. One more time- A Big thankyou to our dear Faram for keeping alive this magnificient Heritage Hotel.

I stayed here with my family in Nov 2020. It was my first visit. The rooms, service. food everything about this place is 5 star.
The owner is friendly and helpful, he made sure all the sanitization procedures are followed during check-in.

We visited this place last week and were there for 3 days and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Such a peaceful and serene place. A beautiful heritage property surrounded by trees and birds chirping and playing around. Cute cats and dogs as pets. Loved the whole atmosphere. Really a heaven.
Rooms were very clean and I was very impressed with the high ceiling construction which makes it very airy and pleasant.
The hospitality and care that Mr Faram and his staff showed were par excellence.
We were surprised by the variety, quantity and quality of dishes being served at all 3 times of the day. Even with me being a vegetarian I had the opportunity to taste many dishes which I have never tasted before. An elaborate spread with very friendly staff serving us .
Every meal had a sweet dish. Loved everything from soup to salad to main course to desserts.
Thanks a lot Mr Faram and staff for such hospitality. Really loved everything about the stay.
We will definitely visit again whenever time permits.

My family & I visited Il Palazzo Heritage Resort Panchgani for 3 nights (23rd-26th Jan) & and i can say without any hesitation that it was one of the most satisfying & pleasant stay we have had since a very long time. Starting with Mr. Khayam’s perfect and kind hospitality towards all his guests to each & every staff member of Il Palazzo being very helpful, the Resort is located on a Prepossessing property amongst the tranquility of nature. But amongst all of this the Resort has the most Delicious , Lavish & Sumptuous Meals being served for all of its guests. The different Varieties, especially the authentic Parsi food that is being served is without a Doubt one of the best Parsi food that one can ever taste. Having tasted the food of all the different Parsi caterers that exist we can vouch that this was by far the best Parsi Food we have ever tasted. From homemade Jams like no other being served for breakfast to different Cuisines being served for every meal , the food quantity and quality was of utmost satisfaction.
Thus we highly recommend this Heritage Resort as one would really appreciate its scenic beauty, its Food & Mr. Khayam’s & the staffs hospitality along with its comfortable/ extremely clean rooms.

Though I was putting up at a resort a good 15 kms away from Il Pallazo I had absolutely no doubt that I wanted to try the all time popular Parsi cuisine that Faram and his team are well reputed for. I honestly tell you they Killed me with Kindness, the food was absolutely to die for not to mention the level of professionalism that went along with it. The Salli Boti, Mutton Beri pulao, Patrani machi are just a few items of a vast menu that they have to offer and all well prepped beyond my imagination, The quantity too was more than sufficient with the very attentive host always asking to request for more if required. The resort itself is really very vintage and beautifully maintained with adequate staff to attend to any queries that needed attention not to mention the beautifully landscaped Garden with ample space for parking visitors vehicles, this will no doubt be my next destination to put up whenever I visit Panchgani again, Thanks again Faram for a fantastic hosting session at IL Pallazo , I'll BE BACK.

I had a really fantastic stay with my wife in IL PALLAZO HOTEL . The ambience was really blissful and heavenly the garden was so beautiful and colourful and so was the landscaping. The Parsi food served was the best I have ever had the Mutton Dhansak , Chicken Farchas , Pomfret fish sauce and all the other delicacies were super delicious even better than my Parsi wife makes n the cherry on the cake are the Milk Puffs which were served early in the morning. MR. Faram who runs the show is one of the nicest ad most hospitable guys I have ever met he makes every one feel very welcome and comfortable. This hotel I feel is one of the best in Panchgani and really value for money. A must go for every family or friends outing.
