Each of our thirty-two cabins at High Country Lodge are nestled among five acres of tall pine trees and within walking distance to Alto Lake. Our cabins feature a real wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms with queen beds, a living room with a hide-a-bed couch, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, HD cable television, free high-speed wireless internet, central heat, air-conditioning and a large porch. Also enjoy the recreation of our indoor heated pool, hot tub, game room, and tennis court. High Country Lodge is the closest accommodations to Ski Apache and is conveniently located near Ruidoso Downs horse racing track, casino gaming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golf and many more outdoor adventures.

We stayed for a few days cabin was clean and plenty of room the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We loved the pool area and hot tub. There is also i nice size game room with pool table and other fun games there....More

the cabin reeked of urine. Carpets and furniture heavily soiled and stained. Kitchen was disgustingly unsanitary. Dirt walls, stove not cleaned. Bathroom walls were patched over. The sink did not drain. Lamps with no shades. Furniture from 1960. We slept in our car!

High Country Lodge is under new ownership. All cabins have been deep cleaned and the product is now constantly updated and a routine maintenance schedule has been instituted. Thank you for this feed back, as it helps us zero in on specific issues.
