Villa Jacaranda is on the south end of Varkala, a lovely beach walk from the action end at North Cliff. It was one of the pricier places we stayed in India but we didn't mind, the room was spacious and clean, and gracious breakfast on our own balcony with the sea glinting through the trees remains one of our best...

Excellent accomodation in Varkala. very stylish and cared small resort where to spend a couple of relaxing days. Rooms are deliceous (specially the 2 ones with own terrace/patio). Staff is really nice and the breakfast is simply amazing! Villa Jacaranda is in a quiet area with birds and trees not too far from the beach. The bustling shopping path on...

They always say you should not go back to a place where you have been very happy, but since we like living dangerously, we decided to round off our second South Indian trip in room 4 of VJ again. And again, like last year, it was absolute bliss to stay at VJ - it was like coming home, with the...

My wife and I stayed at the Villa Jacaranda for 4 nights in August 2008, at the end of a 2 month stay in India. We chose Villa Jacaranda purely on the basis of tripadvisor reviews, and it fully lived up to the praise others have heaped on it. The guest house has just 4 rooms, we had Room 2,...

What a special place this is! I've never been anywhere quite like it. We spent three nights here during out honeymoon, and felt very at home. The staff including Ayjay the owner really look after you, and it's therefore very personal. The building is decorated very simply, but the little touches such as flowers in your room, which make it...

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Jacaranda last week. Really lovely place - great staff and Ajay the owner was brilliant - he helped us organise a great backwater boat trip and a driver to Munnar. Its the perfect place to relax and kick back. Shady verandas, amazing breakfasts.... light bright rooms, simply but beautifully decorated with bits and pieces...

After some googling for a place to stay I came across the Villa Jacaranda website, and one that I consider to be informative, easy to navigate and with extremly attractive photographs. I emailed my choice and was promptly offered room 2. As an extremly fussy traveller all my needs were met without hint of hesitation. Room 2 places you on...

If you are wandering around the south part of India you should definitely find a few days to stop by and stay with Ajay and the rest of the gang at the Villa Jacaranda. This was an amazing place to stay, just a short walk from the beach and downtown - far enough so you aren't in the middle of...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in January and found it was an oasis of peace and tranquility in the hustle and bustle of India. The rooms are wonderful and everyone is so friendly and courteous. Breakfast is taken on your own balcony but is not included in the tarriff so one can have breakfast on the...
