My husband and I stayed at Kaiya House for 3 nights in November. We absolutely loved it. We received a very warm welcome from Debra and her lovely team. The house is beautiful, especially the rooftop area, and Debra organised some really interesting things for us to do in Varkala. Her local knowledge is incredible. We especially enjoyed the 7km... I couldn't recommend staying with Debra and her wonderful team highly enough. We enjoyed absolutely every moment of our stay, from Debra's hospitable welcome to her brilliant recommendations for local tours and walks. We also got to understand far more about Keralan culture and local festivals from Debra. The house itself is beautiful and very clean, with the gorgeous rooftop... More

We had a wonderful time staying with Debra in Kaiya House. Debra and her staff are amazing. Her kindness and recommendations are priceless and it is worth every penny. The rooms are comfortable, clean and full of character. Breakfast on the rooftop is also great. We highly recommend Kaiya House.

My whole experience of Kaiya house from the day I first wrote to enquire to the day I left was amazing. As a solo female traveller Debra immediately made me feel at ease with her reassuring emails and assistance when I first booked. She also made me feel very comfortable with the airport pick up she arranged and on the... More

We choose Kaiya House based on the many excellent reviews it was given. We were not disappointed. Debra, the owner was gracious, informative, knowledgeable and very personable. She welcomed us into her home and treated us like family - a refreshing change after weeks of traveling around India. She took the time to show us around the area, pointed out... More

I selected this place from the trip adviser from the top ratings it got and when now I know why it deserved this place. I was a bit worried since most of the people who raved about this place are from other countries but the hospitality Debra and her team offered us changed all my view points. From the day... More
