This was an unique experience staying in a lovely 1 bed cottage with a sitting room on an island yards from the Kerala backwaters. We were able to watch houseboats, fishermen and other water traffic from our verandah. Meals are included, prepared by the family who own and run this home-stay and are taken communally which made for enjoyable discussions.... More

This place is amazing. Anyone who wants to taste authentic, delicious family-prepared Kerala food needs to come here-for lunch or for a lovely stay. The food is the best we have tasted in India, the family is lovely and the farm is beautiful. Kerala is a beautiful and unique area of India and this farm shows what is special about... More

Philip Kutty's Farm was the icing and the cherry on the cake that was our Indian adventure. We hoped it would live up to our expectations after all we had read and it surpassed them.. From the moment we stepped onto the boat that brought us across from the 'mainland' we fell in love - with the location, the welcome,... More

We stayed 2 night here as part of a Trailfinders Bespoke Tour. It was perhaps the most memorable of 5 venues. The farm. with it's unique individual guests cottages is on an island and guests, plus suitcases, are transported to it by a small boat driven by an elderly and fit man with punt pole! Anu and her Mother are... More

From our initial views across the lake to Philip Cutty's Farm we knew we were in for a very special stay. The boat take you across the lake where you experience the friendliest welcome from Anu & Mummy. The bungalows are just stunning and so clean. The food is just amazing with plenty of different dishes on offer, best food... More

5 star accommodation in a beautiful setting. Warm and friendly family run business. Lovely, immaculate cottages on island overlooking the backwaters. Time spent gazing across water from our private terrace and enjoying the most fantastic and plentiful meals on a large and sociable table. Enjoy the splurge. Sunset boat rides, guide round the gardens, truly a relaxing place.

We spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day here in 2015/2016 and it was totally amazing. The setting is stunning, absolutely beautiful and the hosts don't let the setting down. Anu and "Mummy" were lovely, approachable people, always smiling and very helpful and friendly. The farm is set on a island which can only be approached by dug out... More

We stayed at the farm for 2 nights in December and really enjoyed our stay. The food was some of the best that we had travelling around Kerala; all of the 8 dish lunches and dinners were delicious and used lots of ingredients fresh from their farm. The cottages are beautifully designed inside and very comfortable; impressively a lot of... More

We arrived by boat for a tour of the farm and a home-prepared informal lunch. As we weren't staying in one of the well-appointed chalets, I'll concentrate on the lunch. Around eight of us guests relaxed around a beautiful polished-wood circular table with a large lazy-susan on top. The food was all absolutely excellent, the dishes were all Kerala specialities...
