I second everything that Indiaphile has written. However, I would say (and I mentioned it to the guys at the time) that the rooms are a bit on the small size to be called Deluxe. I think they are called 'deluxe' because they have a TV. Let me give a few more bouquets to the staff, who are exceptional, and...

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights at Napier House, in Fort Cochin. The rooms are clean with comfortable mattresses. The breakfasts were tasty and served in a lovely patio area. The BEST part of Napier House is its staff. They are warm, bright, eager to help, knowledgeable, and kind. We felt totally cared for, safe and welcomed. The...

We stayed at Napier House for four nights in December and found it delightful. It is down a quiet side street in Fort Cochin but still within walking distance of the sights. We found the hosts extremely friendly and welcoming and they even gave our ten year old son some impromptu martial arts lessons! The breakfasts were delicious with a...

Situated down a tiny quiet lane it avoids all the noise closer to the town centre yet only a 10minute stroll to the chinese nets. The staff couldnt have been more helpful + friendly in every way and nothing was a trouble. They can organise trips, get tickets for the front seats for performances (ask Joseph) and even sought us...

Napier House is a comfortable stay, in a great location in Fort Cochin. Everyone there is all smiles and willing to help, with above average English (in my opinion). The room was simple, but good. Overall Napier House is a good value. What really stood out was the speed at which they replied to my emailed questions, something I found...

In a quiet location, though close to the town center, we found Napier House to be an excellent place to stay. Comfortable and relaxed, with very helpful and accommodating staff - flexible enough to meet our needs. They are very friendly, and with good suggestions. Nice bathrooms too!

I arrived on a rainy October evening to be greated by Joseph and the other staff at Napier House. The Taxi driver took a little while to find it but once there I settled in straight away. Up to the veranda for a cup of Chai and a good chat with Joseph where he was full of ideas for my...

“The room situation appears to be an ongoing issue here. On the ground floor, there is a suite and a standard room behind reception as well as the room that the owner sleeps in.On the first floor, there is a Deluxe room with a balcony (this is the large room that people speak of) and a standard room beside the kitchen in the back.
