We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are pleasant and Helpful. Our room Mombasa was fine, but the Mombasa theme was barely evident and reading light never worked despite promises. Delicious dosa breakfast at the poolside was a highlight. The pool area especially the barbecue area was untidy and quite unkempt. Just a little cleaning up here would make it... More

Clean and tidy. Spacious rooms. Friendly/ warm staff who go to no ends to please the guests. Relatively private swimming pool is a great asset. Only downside is the location, if one wants to travel to LuLu mall (1hr), Airport (1.5hr) or Alleppey (1.5hr). However good for a 1-2 day stay if wanting to see the Fort Kochi area. Wifi... More

Tea bungalow is a very comfortable place to stay in Cochi. The hotel is conveniently located, just few blocks from the center of town. The building layout is rather odd as there are rooms whose doors are right there in the main common area (lobby and restaurant). We got a room on the second floor, which offered better privacy. I... This amazing little gem is worth an extra long detour. Galle, our room, is beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming - a tricky combination to pull off. The staff and the service was attentive but not 'on your face'. We loved the quiet garden, the birds, the little snooze by the swimming pool. And the food was good too. An excellent place... More

A small (ten room) boutique hotel located in Fort Cochin. We stayed in the Mombasa suite, which is on the ground floor of the building adjacent to the reception/dining area. The room was relatively spacious, comfortable double bed, a/c with safe, television but no room fridge. The on suite bathroom had a delightful indoor/outdoor shower area (which was actually fully... We stayed here for two nights in November, we were greeted with a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed juice, most welcome as it was very hot (for us!). Our room was on the first floor of the adjoining building (Cambra I think). Very comfortable with a nice large and modern bathroom. Lovely high ceiling clad with wood (teak?). The service... More

My brother and I were in a room called Goa which was accessed directly from the open plan reception cum dining area. It was large and comfortable with a large bathroom with very slippery floors. Access to the bathroom was through narrow double doors with a wooden sliding latch which was fine in the daytime except when my brother absentmindedly... More

Great hotel smack in the centre of fort kochi, inside a lovely colonial house - all major sites are within walking distance. Rooms were really comfortable, nice bathroom and very helpful hotel staff. Smallish but nice swimming pool at the back. And the breakfast is really delicious, with an amazing different Indian option every morning.

This is probably the best place I've stayed in India. Fabulous conversion of an old carpet company offices into a boutique hotel. Rooms have character and are clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, brilliant "outdoor" bathrooms, incredible food - real home cooking probably best I've had in India. Well situated to explore town and local sites. Try the homemade lemon and... This small, colonial-style hotel of 10 rooms used to be a British carpet company's headquarters, then a Tea company's BnB before assuming it's current role in 2008. Our room was large, as was the bathroom. The a/c worked well, breakfast was excellent and there's a crystal clear pool in the inner courtyard if desired.
