I can only echo what others have said about the delightful Sheeba and Ashley. The homestay is very, very lovely, but it's worth staying just to be so well looked after and cherished. There is a selection of rooms and a wonderful rooftop breakfast/ sitting area, right amongst the treetops.

We traveled two weeks in Kerlala and it was the best accomodation we had. The hosts are very warm and gave us the feeling to be at home. The roof terrace is like a jungle and a perfect spot to spend the time. Highly recommendable!

We stayed 3 nights at Green Woods on our arrival into kochi and loved every moment of it. The property is tranquil and beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and sweet birds. The room was comfortable and cozy, but the real highlight is Sheeba and Ashley, who are the most generous kind and hospitable hosts. Green Woods truly felt like a... More

This was our first homestay in India and was so nice to have a homely place and the most friendliest host Sheeba and her husband. Very helpful for places to eat, places to go, arranging tuk tuks. And just lovely to sit and chat. Room and bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Beautyful Guesthouse with lovely caring owners. Clean and tidy. They have nice communal spaces to hangout and meet other people, like on the rooftops and on the balcony. The next nice restaurants are just 5 minutes away to walk. The owners assist you with everything what you need to organize, very helpful, so that I also got a last minute... More

Located in a pedestrian only area with a lush little tree garden, Sheeba has nine rooms to offer. We stayed five nights in an AC double room. We were very happy here. Sheeba is the host in this homestay. She caringly takes care of each guest, making sure you have a comfortable, safe stay at a good price. Note that... More

Loved my stay at Green Woods Bethlehem and was very sad to leave. When we arrived at the leafy oasis we were met with the warmest of welcomes from hosts Sheeba and Ashley. Our room was simple but beautiful and we ended up staying 6 nights there. Sheeba and Ashley were such stars. Sheeba was always making us bites to... More

Could not recommend this place enough. On arrival we were greeted with warm smiles and a glass of chai (also warm) by Sheeba and her husband Ashley. The rooms are simple but lovingly decorated. Breakfasts are delicious and consist of different local dishes each morning. Cooking demo hosted by Sheeba was fascinating to watch and produced some delicious food, eaten... More

Staying here is like staying at your favourite aunt and uncles place and Sheeba and Ashley certainly welcome you like family. The rooms are homely and clean and a different local treat is served on the rooftop for breakfast each morning. Sheeba and Ashley were super helpful, organising tickets to the Kathakali show and a car transfer to Alleppey for... More

This was one of the loveliest guesthouses I stayed in in my month in India. Ashley and Sheeba are incredibly helpful and kind hosts and the room, though small, was comfortable. There is no hot shower which made the shower a bit cold but refreshing. The included breakfast was good. The one issue I had was the massive amounts of... More
