We didn't have a room booked when we arrived in cochin. So we did what we have previously done and gone by the lonely planet recommendations. We arrived to green woods and the initial thought was that it was a beautiful place, sheeba and her family were lovely. The outdoor area was stunning, with all the natural surroundings. But the...

We were warmly welcomed by Sheeba even though we arrived after midnight. We had prebooked for our first nights in India after reading such great reviews. Sadly our experience and the room did not live up to the wonderful welcome. During our stay in India this has been the most expensive room we stayed in, yet also the worst. The...

As all the other reviews say Sheeba and Ashley are great and proud hosts. Be ready for a warm welcome, and if you don't get one straight away it's because the two will be busy throwing their heart and soul into running the place! If you get the chance to have a long conversation with one of the two, do!...

This homestay is well situated within a short walk of town and sea front. It was comfortable, inexpensive and had everything we needed for our visit. Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. Nothing was too much trouble; they advised us on the best places to visit, arranged taxis for us, kept our surplus luggage safely while we went on...

At the beginning of my trip through Kerala I stayed 2 nights in Bethlehem's. The area is cosy and calm, you can walk to the beach promenade and Chinese fishernets. Also downtown Fort Kochi is walkable by foot. Sheeba and Ashley are wonderful, helpful hosts, which try to support you in any cases - e.g. airport pick-up, transport information, Tuk...

Wow! Sheeba and Ashley are excetionally personable, helpful, warm and generous hosts. They share their time, expertise and house for wonderfully good value. We stayed at Greenwoods Bethlehem on our first night in Kerela (enjoying doing a rooftop yoga class on the greenwoods bethlehem roofterrace) and went back to stay at the end of our travels because we had loved...

I can only echo what others have said about the delightful Sheeba and Ashley. The homestay is very, very lovely, but it's worth staying just to be so well looked after and cherished. There is a selection of rooms and a wonderful rooftop breakfast/ sitting area, right amongst the treetops.

We traveled two weeks in Kerlala and it was the best accomodation we had. The hosts are very warm and gave us the feeling to be at home. The roof terrace is like a jungle and a perfect spot to spend the time. Highly recommendable!
