I somehow forgot to write a review for this AWESOME place. Well, it was TA which helped me decide on it and over time I've realized TA can never go wrong! Yes, the place is quite interior, you cant really take your car all the way, if it has rained a lot. But that's a very small inconvenience for the serenity... More

Very peaceful place away from it all, the wind is your constant companion. The rooms are decent, but power is a problem in the evenings. Food is veg, but egg and chicken options can be provided if informed a little early in the day. You will need a SUV to travel the last 3 km, before that the roads are... More

After several online and tripadvisor review, finally we choose Hunkal Woods. Just gave a call to them and over the phone Mr Ananth explained all the traffic and other things over the phone. The place was really awesome. it is inside the coffee estate(750 acre coffee estate). They have one bungalow type building(which have 4 rooms) and three separate room... More

I just loved the trip. It was so quiet and so peaceful. It was a amazing experience and I think that everyone should visit this place . The place is very simple but yet wonderful. The view is very green. This place is not place where you can laze around but a place where there are amazing, breathtaking and beautiful treks.

This is one place that offers you the opportunity to unwind either by doing no activity or a lot of it depending upon what helps you unwind. However, first thing first, this was our first trip with our dog, in fact, this trip was planned for our dog. Man, are we glad we chose Hunkal Wood. They are extremely pet... More

We are a cycling group from Bangalore (Cadence90) who keep exploring places on bicycles. This time we decided to visit this place after we read some nice reviews. We were not at all disappointed. In fact this place exceeded out expectation. People here are so friendly and they make you feel at home. Food is extraordinary. Cheers to Nandan and... More

An ancient home rebuilt and made into a 'tucked in the lap of nature' estate in the beautiful hills of chikmagalur surrounded by a huge coffee estate and beautiful wilderness . . . Was there a week back with friends. We selected it because of its pet friendly policy. . .and that's not just technicality but in true spirit .... More

The place is pretty good a bit over priced I would say for the food they offer, more of a veg places. Meat lovers "AVOID" this place. The places to visit around the place is just a waste of time and priced high as well not worth paying so much

I generally prefer to write positive reviews, but this negative one is worth doing, so other travellers are clear in advance about what they will get. First the positives. The location and setting are great. Our dog was welcome. The staff are friendly. But...the "simple" heritage bungalow was shabby and not-cared-for, to the point that it was depressing. We had...
