It was beautiful. The rooms are spacious. It brought back memories of childhood - team played volleyball in the rain, wrestling in the mud, kite flying, seven stones,...we even made tea in the kitchen on our own. Staff were very hospitable. Good food. Overall very enjoyable experience.

The moment we approached this resort.. we knew we were in for something special. The place is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the best part... it has everything running on natural resources - water and electricity. If you have time you may engage is some activities which bring you back to the good old days. The staff is warm,... More

Online reviews should not be trusted. This place was shown as a luxury eco resort. Sounded great. We paid Rs 9500 per room during the August 15th weekend because we wanted to relax with the spa, etc. For this amount, we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel. But we decided to stay here to enjoy the eco things... More

Checked in over the 4th Sept weekend with my dog (pet friendly). Nice location amidst farm land. Very nice architecture. Equally hospitable staff with the right intentions to make the guests happy. Nice outdoors and lot of potential to take long walks and generally be one with nature within and without the premises. Hot water is a problem. Since its... More

So glad that you brought your pet and spent time with us. Equally happy that you found our location, architecture, staff to your satisfaction. What you saw in the shampoo bottle as 'discoloured skin' happens only when the shampoo is made using essential oils. It is safe and an indicator that all is well! But I guess we are all... More

Place was good but bit far from city. Last few kms of drive was bit painful. Food was good and place was clean. it gave the feeling of being away from the noise of city. Good for family and kids to spend quality time.

Thank you for your review Yagesh. Distance is such a relative and subjective issue, but I guess our place seemed far for you even thought we are just 90 minutes from Bangalore city. But sometimes, if you get stuck in traffic, it will seem really far. I am glad that your family and you spent some quality time at our... More

Our Native Village (ONV) was really a breath of fresh air. A resort set in the concept of village, takes you closer to activities which even our generation may not even remember much. Kids tend to love the openness, and the new things to do. Courteous staff were able to bring even different groups together in games etc. Food was... More

Do come back to enjoy again Anoop. Fresh air is at a premium, what with Bangalore being fighting with other cities to be the most polluted city! Glad that you recognised the activities that our kids may not know about. Having said that, the openness is what resonates with every kid. Guess it matches the openness in their young and... More

Rarely do we get high marks for our wifi, but I am glad. This is perhaps the first review among the hundreds we have received where someone mentioned the wifi! But guess that is priority for you. Yes we have a fully natural swimming pool that you are perhaps not familiar with. We deliberately keep it shallow so that kids... More

This is a place to go if you want to get a feel of village environment with urban touch. They have all village activities starting from gilli danda to pottery etc. Also the hotel rooms have urban rural touch. I would recommend this place for family outing

Our objective was to provide a kiss of village life, but with all the creature comforts that city dwellers are used to. glad that you also saw it that way and enjoyed our resort. Our activities are also designed to give you that touch of village life. It is rare that we find this experience in the city, as for... More

Brilliant change from chaos of city-life ... Excellent property and well-maintained cottages, close to city but still far-away from city life, Good vegetarian food, good SPA, good family activities for entertainment and very good service levels.

It always gladdens our herts to read reviews from folks like you Sanjeev. Thank you! We work hard with a bunch of staff from the villages, who have a genuine smile from their hearts. City life is so busy, chaotic and filled with stress, we need to go out regularly to rejuvenate and come back to face the city again.... More

Its set in a beautiful place. but one warning, the approach road is pretty bad and it takes time. we took an hour and a half from Malleshpalya. Glad that you could not ignore the subtle things we have like the organic produce and toiletries. Super good that Kulfi enjoyed himself. In the beginning our own pets used to get quite jealous when other pets came along, but over time, they have become quite accepting of new friends that come along. So happy that you found the property... More
