We landed in Tso Moriri when the lights were fading and after driving the treacherous roads for almost 9 hours. The three of us were totally exhausted and Camp Tso Moriri, where we were supposed to spend the night refused to give us rooms as they hadn't received our bookings though the online travel portal!! Luckily we met Tenzing, who... More

The room is decently big for tent and all rooms have an attached bathroom. We spent 3 people in a tent and were comfortable. The temperature was -10 degrees so it was obvioulsy very cold. But they had provided good thick blankets and gave an extra upon request. The other people staying in the tents were extremely good and friendly... More

Beautiful location but staying is tough in Tso Moriri as very little options available. Yak camp has got basic tents. The attached bath are not at all advisable. Staff here are unprofessional. Very limited food options available here. Had a tough time spending a night here.

Went in july 2015. did not get a booking in Tso moriri resort, so for an alternate stayed here. Tent is average. food was pathetic. Washroom was too dirty. It was chilling outside and tent had no electricity after 8pm. They are more loyal towards foreigner than indian nationals. Management is too bad. Avoid this property at all costs.

The tent is just having a bed and the attached bath is very messy and uncomfortable. However, this is the best available place to stay in Tso moriri. The food was not that great but acceptable in the conditions there. Staff was not friendly. If you are looking for a comfort stay and this is not the place. Nights are... More

We were supposed to stay here for the night but because of unforeseen weather conditions we could not reach Tso Moriri at night. We reached the Korzok village only the next day and could spend only half an hour there. Although, our accommodations were booked before we could not get a stay there for the morning as it had been... More

The experience at Yak Camp was not a great one for us, the place has a good view and is close to the lake but the behaviour of the staff was pathetic. As Tso Morori was quiet a long ride for us we reach post sunset only to find dirty tents with missing toilet seats, tea kettles being given instead... More

Tso Moiri is one of the most difficult places to find a good accommodation , so considering that there is a serious lack of options , this place is comparatively okay . Also we must remember that Tso Moiri is a very remote place and amenities are difficult to provide . I must add that wen I had gone there... More

Stayed there for one night in September, 2014 while on way from Leh to Manali. Afternoon was sunny and warm but much colder evening than expected. I often travel while escorting tourists to Himachal and Ladakh, have experienced stays in a number of camping sites in the region. Yak Camps is a mix of old smaller tents and, brand new... More
