Jammu Ashok LOOKS like it once was something special, but now is a run-down neglected dirty unserviced slack-staffed incompetent ghost of a bygone era. Like many places in India it rests on its imagery of grander times LONG PAST, but there is no substance behind an admittedly impressive facade and grounds ... of course any feature in the grounds such... I stayed in Jammu Ashok for a night. Unique feature of this hotel is only the location, else this is very average hotel. Hotel management did not bothered to maintain or upgrade this for last several years. This looks like a lodge, not a hotel. When you enter in the hotel/room, you will get the feel of a shabby lodge.... More

Was not worth the amount we spend for the room. This might have been a very good hotel once upon a time, but not anymore. Our family stayed in 4 different rooms, and some of the points I mention were applicable to all rooms. The wardrobe is place right at the entrance door in such a way that whenever the... More

I stayed here for one night with family. The rooms of first floor were clean and spacious so we opted that. Food was not good especially the breakfast, with very little options. The staff were not at all courteous and even after giving them directions for baby food they failed in providing the same. Room service was good . They... More

1. I stayed here for two nights very recently. Reached hotel around 6:30 AM and found no one at reception. Thankfully, the guy woke up from his sleep and I didn't had to wait long. 2. Inside the room, I found the bathroom pot completely dirty and hence I immediately requested to either clean it or change my room. My... More

The hotel is out of city on Manda hills and very close to Amar Mahal ( museum and palace hotel) and also the Deer Park. The campus is huge and has a lot of potential but unfortunately there is no maintenance. The room (210) was dirty the bathrooms similar to public toilets. The house keeping staff does not listen to... More

I must say it was an awful choice of mine based of cleartrip. The hotel which on the internet showed as 2.1 kms from airport is actually around 12-13 kms far from the hotel. Besides the hotel doesnt have the amenities properly maintained though the place it got is sufficient. Besides cleartrip got me the worst deal as the package... More
