We chose the House of MG because of its location and had the deluxe room. This was spacious with sitting area. The staff was very friendly thru and thru. We also took the morning heritage walking tour. This is a 2 hr. Tour of the old city. We had very informative guide who showed where the trades lived (Pol) in...

What a visual delight this hotel is. Centrally located but like an oasis. Staff is excellent as is the ambiance. Each common area is tastefully decorated. There is a small but soothing swimming pool. Rooms are traditionally done but comfortable. Restaurant is excellent too. The Masala chai is a delicious. Every dish is served with care and a unique traditional...

This hotel is unique, awesome and is worth a visit even if you do not stay there. You can visit a to a mini textile museum/gallery on the first floor. There is a new and old wing in the hotel: we were staying in room M002, a basement room in the old wing. The room in itself is beautiful, very...

A real pleasure to stay in a hotel with so much history and culture. Not just a hotel - two great restaurants, wonderful shops selling handicrafts and a textile museum. The textile museum is not to be missed - a truly stunning collection of fabrics from all over Gujurat, curated in a modern way with lots of informative notices. Staff...

We ate on the roof and had a Thali. I t was excellent but i always wonder if I'm eating my pudding with my main course and...

We stayed for 2 nights at the house of MG and appreciated you stay. The house is beautiful with many inner courtyards and places to stay. The bedrooms are very nice, well decorated, clean, but it turned out that the first room we got was quite Noisy as it directly gave on a small street with a corner shop that...

It was a rustic ambience...serene..very peaceful..although the price of food is exorbitant I think it was around 1400 per pax appx...which I thought was too much for a Gujrati Thali..otherwise Service Quality everything was top notch..

A lovely old colonial building where each room is different. Restaurant on the roof serving Thali is wonderful with excellent service. A lovely large indoor swimming pool. The hotel does not tick all the boxes of 5 star modern hotels on amenities and service, but it more than makes up for it with its wonderful atmosphere and look of elegant...

The place takes you back to Ahmedabad in 50's - 60's. A old haveli converted into hotel and restaurant. Authentic Gujarati food is found only over here in all of Ahmedabad. All dishes are extraordinary, fresh and mouthwatering and fingerlicking good.
