It's your basic old-style motel, but it's run by a family who obviously takes great pride in the appearance, maintenance, cleanliness, and amenities of the place. Breakfast was every bit as good as Days Inn, etc. Well worth the rate paid.

Amid our southern New Mexico road trip adventure, we ran across this cute motel that had character and charm. The owners were kind to us even though we arrived late in the evening. They even honored our request for a room away from others, as we are light sleepers. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, had a desk, two... More

I was there for five nights this week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great rates, very clean, free wifi that really works, friendly and attentive owners on site. Very convenient to White Sands National Monument.

This place was the best deal I ever found on my 12 day trip. It was absolutely the cleanest room I ever have stayed in. I wish there were more reasonably priced decent places like this! The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and the staff was friendly! Highly recommended!

Have stayed here numerous times over the years. Same family has owned for over 25 years. No surpriseshere. An unbeatable, great value for a classic, Motel style lodge. Nothing fancy. Very clean rooms.

Nothing glamorous by any means but the price and location were right. Was clean and offered a decent nights sleep. The breakfast was pretty mediocre. Rating is based on value for $ spent. Can recommend for a quick stay.

White Sands Motel has the most lovely, beckoning neon sign, and it beckons you to a stay that is modernly-appointed, clean, maintained with pride, safe, and welcoming. So it has everything: the classic desert motor lodge look and vibe, but while feeling utterly secure. This is the best value going. I stayed here two nights and went to White Sands... More

Clean and friendly with a classic neon sign. Perfect. Rooms are quite. Free use of sand boards to take into the dunes, which is really thoughtful and saves buying/renting in White Sands Dunes National Monument - a short 20min drive away. I phoned to reserve no online booking that I could find

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were freshly painted as well as the motel itself. Well maintained premises. Great for one night. Loved that they let you borrow the sleds for White sands. The price was good as well. The only negative was that we had asked for a room in the back according to other reviews and the man... More

I loved this little gem of a vintage motel. Super clean and comfortable and quiet. The rooms are on the small side, but the quality of the room makes up for that. Very comfortable bed. Plus the motel retains its original look from when constructed, about the late 1950's or early 1960's. There is a photo in the lobby circa... More
