It's a home away from home...you would feel your family welcoming you. Traditional Indian hospitality. You would be looked after very well. Refreshing amidst meadows, orchards, farms, lush green lawns all with warm truly warm hospitality. Look forward to visit again:)

I went to Deep Roots Retreat for a weekend getaway and had an absolutely wonderful time in the resort. Stay The rooms are big palatial rooms. I personally hadn't seen such a big room before and it was a new experience for me. There were books wrapped in old-style hard cover and all you wanted was to read nice books... More

We traveled to Deeproots Retreat in Aug 2014. Right from the time we were booking, we were impressed by Gobind's support in planning itinerary to food that we wanted to have. And was thoroughly impressed when we found him waiting along with Seerat even we reached pretty late in night. Since we were travelling with extended family, we had whole... More

We had a very wonderful experience during our stay in the Deep Roots Retreat last weekend. Its an awesome place, full of solitude and flu of positive energies. We reached quite late in the night but were Govind and Seerat were there to welcome us to their wonderful estate. Another surprise was when Mr. Brar himself dropped in to meet... More

We had a great stay at Deeproots retreat. I can't find anything negative to say. Everything is enjoyable there: it's quiet, the house is comfortable and beautifully arranged, the surroundings are lovely, the homemade food is delicious, the peole are nice and welcoming. We were welcomed very warmly by Seerat and Gobind, who own the place. I've been used to... More

We were 2 families, group of 8 people who visited this 'hidden gem' last week. Stayed there for 2 nights, one better than the other. Nestled amidst lush green farms, the place is 'far from the madding crowd' of the city (Chandigarh aficionados, it is just proverbial!), yet so very approachable from the Chandigarh airport as well as downtown. Whether... More

I stayed there with my friends, on 15th august 2013 to 16th august 2013. Our expectations are raised by reviews on tripadvisor. But I am sorry to say that, This place is particularly not worth off stay. Although room sizes are good but few basic things were missing, like for calling any staff we need to go downstairs to call... More

I wanted to stay in a non-hotel type place in Chandigarh, and found Deep Roots Retreat after a bit of research. I was driving from Delhi, and was delayed in leaving Delhi, so arrived at around 11pm. We were interested in staying at Deeproots as a way to unwind after a few weeks of traveling, and indeed, we were able to do so during the two days and nights we stayed there. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable, available on the premises the first night, after which we had the house almost to ourselves! Except that... More
