I had a very clean, modest room. Worth 600rs a night. I really loved their rooftop restaurant, food wasn't too great, but the ambience is very nice. I only stayed for one night and the room served its purpose very well. Definitely a good place if you're on a budget. They also have friendly staff and cheaper wifi compared to...

Small, pretty clean room, barely any ventilation and the a/c worked. The rooftop restaurant is the best part. It is a traveler's shack and you will find plenty of new company. The food is decent but a tad overpriced. The staff are good fun and are of great help. You also get WiFi (good enough for mails not much more)...

We just the place a transit point. The rooms are simple and minimal. The sheets etc were always clean. They have hot water, but make sure that it is working properly. The rooftop restaurant is the USP of this place. One issue that they have is that they expect you to checkout by 9am. Which is a little too early....

Their rooftop restaurant is great but thats it. We took an AC room at 1200 rps and the room was dirty , the shower didn't quite worked and we heard loud noises from thw street and near by buildings all the time . didn't sleep much that night. :-(

Wow what a great introduction to India. The Lalaji Bayview is like a home away from home. I had arrived feeling unwell with flu and the management when out of their way to get me medication. They were all so kind and helpful it was incredible value for money. Food was homely and massive portions. Bedrooms clean and tidy. The...

Off the noisy Main Bazar Area, 5 min from the sea shore. Very nice Place to sit, eat and check your mails (wifi!) and stay for a night: Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean. Highlight is (next to the location) the restaurant with a wide offer of seafood dishes (mid price range) and a lovely, artsy sitting area...

The prices have doubled from the latest lonely planet edition (700Rps for a double wih fan instead of 400 Rps), the fan was way too small and we had a huge cockroach in our room. Staff was pretty unhelpfull and impolite towards us. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, good juices, ok food and the location is of coourse great.

I really don't understand why this place is so famous on Lonely Planet. Ok, the restaurant is really nice, the food is good, the principal waiter is fun and kind, even though little careless. And you have to wait 1h and more for the smallest thing like a tea, so be ready for that. The wifi is not bad, but...
