Check-in time is 2 pm. We arrived at 1:30 and our room wasn't ready which is perfectly understandable. We left our car in their free parking, our luggage at the desk and went out for something to eat. When we came back at 2:10, our luggage was by the desk unattended and not in a back room and our room was still not ready. We had to wait until 2:30 for our room. Was there any form of apology ? Nope ! And to top it off, the floor of the room was still wet when we got there...
Now the room itself was awesome. Fully renovated, large, comfy bed, great TV selection, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a large closet and a balcony with view on the Black Sea (as all rooms do). The rest of the hotel also needs to be renovated however.
For some reason, breakfast is served late (from our point of view) in a lot of hotels in Georgia : 9 am. This was an issue especially since we wanted an early start to our day. The buffet was mediocre with too many (famished ?) people trying to get their share at once. Side note : juice does not equal water plus syrup...

The staff on reception were very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, right on the waterfront, but it is a good walk or a taxi ride to the downtown area with many of the restaurants and tourist attractions. The facilities were good and well-maintained including the pools (inside and outside) and the gym. The rooms are clean and spacious and all have a sea view. The breakfast was a bit disappointing - like they were trying to do a western style breakfast when they might have been better doing local style and doing it well. For instance, the Georgian breads are amazing but on the buffet they had soft, limp baguettes.

I lived in it for 2 days and the room was nice and the view was great, but the furniture is old and needs renovation. There is no employee outside and the door is closed and you are carrying bags. The breakfast is delicious, but there are no precautions in taking the food and the staff are young and uncooperative. I ordered a certain type of eggs with cheese and she said there is no request, only the one in front of you and the first time I hear this

Me and my wife know Colosseum since 2015 and regularly stay there. Staff is very friendly, every room has sea view. Price for 5-star hotel is very good. Breakfast is delicious, it has rather good choice of food (mostly Georgian cuisine, but some international dishes too), cold and hot drinks, many sweets. Knowing the hotel since 2015, I can say that it had several renewals. Restaurant has new design, swimming pool also was refreshed. We didn't use it much, but there's also SPA with small fitness center (also with sea view). I'd like to thank all hotel staff for warm greetings and good rooms we always get. Colosseum is definitely my recommendation for Batumi.

We stayed for 7 days at the hotel. Advantage is the hotel location, however the entire hotel service is pretty much disappointing. Over the fist five days wi-fi was extremely slow, for the rest two days it has totally disappeared. Hotel administration attitude is basically ignorance. Room cleaning is done not regularly, but if done, the rooms are still very dirty.

The room was nice clean and spacious. The view from the room was excellent. Breakfast was good, especially with desserts as there was a great variety of desserts available. The staff at breakfast did not really speak English and there was no water available.
The spa section had rude staff, the Turkish sauna was apparently broken and the Nordic sauna was less than 60 Degrees hot. The Spa was a real disappointment. The pool was ok though.

I strongly recommend this hotel.
Every thing was above my expectations ; nice staff,clean room,quiet place,perfect facilities,close to the beach and not very far from city center.
As negative point I can say the cleaning staff did not refill every used items,for example I asked for hair conditioner but they didn't give it to me.
There were no sewing kit neither tooth brush and paste ,that seems common in a 5star hotel.

BUT here, I'm dumbfounded!!! Every piece of hotel, such as : people, evnironment, equipment is unbelievably perfect! The stuff is always ready to help you, so friendly and modestly... Furniture and other details are so clear.
At the last, I advice you "Colloseum Marina Hotel" - becouse of, it gives you a chance to have an unforgettable time; believe me, If you oncely become part of this paradise, then someday-somehow you'll dream to return back here!

I would like to recommend Colosseum Marina hotel,to everyone who comes in Batumi.
The rooms are lovely,clean,and every room has gota beautiful view over the black sea from the balcony. The service is very nice,kind.the breakfast is very rich of everything you would ever emagine to eat.Especially Tebro from the front desk was always friendly,kind and helpfull. I would like to mention also the service of the restaurant,Roini,Nestani,Nini,Tazo Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation in Georgia batumi

This is nice hotel located close to Batumi boulevard just 2-3 minutes to the sea. They also have fantastic outdoor pool with view on the sea. Staff were very attentive and helped with all the questions. They have restaurant inside with affordable prices. It will be perfect choice for those who want to stay close to the sea.
